Mahomet was not a prophet, he was an ordinary man who created a religion to gain power. He was a violent warrior.

I hope I don’t get killed for saying this!

This reminds me of a passage in Chesterton’s The Everlasting Man, where we are asked if all religions are really the same, as the Christian missionary is about to be killed by savages. Just as muslims might kill anyone who speaks against them.

I have nothing against the muslim people, but I do have a problem with this faith system.

The original Greek and Hebrew texts. No English version can be completely reliable.
Which version of the Qur’an is the true one, Shia or Sunni? I happen to possess both.
I am a Sunni. But even any mainstream Shia will not agree with you, if you say they have a different Quran, becasue they don’t have one.

What is the possibility to have access to the that ‘Original Greek and Hebrew texts’? I just want to make sure what was written originally in 1 john 5:7, Mark’s gospels 7:16, 9:44, 9:46, 11:26, 15:28, Luke’s gospel 17:36, Mathew’s gospels 12:47 (New International Version- Foot note says it is not there in some manuscripts), 17:21, 18:11, 21:44 (New International Version- Foot note says it is not there in some manuscripts), 23:14, John’s gospels 5:4, 7:53 – 8:11.

Nonsense! While he was weak and powerless he could not afford to be ruthless! Things changed when he became powerful Do you agree with all the crimes I mentioned?
My dear, isn’t impossible to digest, a man can wait for morethan 10 years, suffering attacks, life threatened to force someone to believe in him while he was unable to do it even to single person?

Once after he returned from madina with his people, what he did to those enemies in Mecca? He could kill them. He could force them to convert. But what he did? Just forgave them.

There is no even a single crime he committed.
Well, it certainly is not at the age of 9! Any man who has sex with a 9 year old is a pedophile!

Nince escape. If you don’t know the answer, ask me, I will tell you. If you are correct, even the God is a pedophile according to Bible.

I can’t wait to hear this one. Where is this in the Bible? Book, Chapter and Verse please!

Some problems with this. First of all, the children of Ishmael and the children of Isaac would not be brothers, they would be cousins. God says to Moses:

None of the Hebrews would have considered the Ishmaelites their brothers. Incidentally, they saw themselves as Israelites (children of Jacob) not children of Isaac.

Jesus and Moses are more alike than Moses and Muhammad. For instance, Moses was saved from the slaughter of the innocents just as Jesus was. Also, Moses instructed people for the passover. Jesus uses the passover when establishing a new covenant at the last supper. Moses receives the ten commandments from God and delivers them to the Israelites. Jesus gives a new commandment to the Apostles:
You took it literally. Even if any one in Israelites cannot claim he is brother of another unless he is born to same father. But in a generation sense, they can say, they from the same family since they both are from Isaraelites. In the same way, in a generation sense ishmaelites are their brotherens, since Ismael and Ishaac (pbut) were brothers.
John 15: 12-15
How is the fact that John the Baptist claims he is not “the prophet” make Jesus not “The Prophet”? Yet the people proclaim it and Jesus does not deny it:
That is what we Muslims believe he is. Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet. One of the great 5 prophets of Islam.
Jesus fulfills both prophecies. He is both the Christ and the Prophet.
One last thing, Moses performed miracles so that the people would believe him. What signs and wonders did Muhammad perform? And no, you cannot use the Quran as a proof.
Before I tell you the miracles, let me say this.

From the very words of Jesus (pbuh), you should understand that there will be many people who can do miracles but not from God. So please stop relying so much on miracles. Still pope and Catholic authority confirms people as saints according to the miracles they did and happened to them. But the funny part is, miracles are happening more in protestents (specially pentacost) than it happening among catholics. All they do visioning Jesus (pbuh), healing people etc. But none of them are Christians even as per the comment of Pope 3 days back. There is nothing that any miracle can prove today. But it was indeed valid for those people like peter (Disciple), jews and the people before them. There were people who asked Mohamed (pbuh) too to show any miracle to prove his prophethood. But today what we have is a the message they gave us. Do you have anything from Jesus (pbuh) (Consider only the four Gospels. Filter it for the words of Jesus (pbuh) and exclude the understandings of writers since the writers are not conform)? That is what is for you to testify and to rely your faith. We have Quran and Sahih Sunna (Confirmed Hadees) which we do rely our faith. It should not be the miracles that happened 2000 -1500 years ago, to rely our faith.

Miacles of Mohamed (pbuh)

The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent in twain. And if they behold a portent they turn away and say: Prolonged illusion.
They denied (the Truth) and followed their own lusts. Yet everything will come to a decision. Quran 54:1-3.

Moon Splitting in Hadiths

Narrated Abdullah bin Masud: “During the lifetime of the Prophet the moon was split into two parts and on that the Prophet said, ‘Bear witness (to thus).’ (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Virtues and Merits of the Prophet (pbuh) and his Companions, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 830)”

Narrated Anas: “That the Meccan people requested Allah’s Apostle to show them a miracle, and so he showed them the splitting of the moon. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Virtues and Merits of the Prophet (pbuh) and his Companions, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 831)”

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: “The moon was split into two parts during the lifetime of the Prophet. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Virtues and Merits of the Prophet (pbuh) and his Companions, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 832)”

Narrated Anas bin Malik: “The people of Mecca asked Allah’s Apostle to show them a miracle. So he showed them the moon split in two halves between which they saw the Hiram’ mountain. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar), Volume 5, Book 58, Number 208)”

Narrated 'Abdullah: “The moon was split ( into two pieces ) while we were with the Prophet in Mina. He said, “Be witnesses.” Then a Piece of the moon went towards the mountain. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar), Volume 5, Book 58, Number 209)”

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas: “During the lifetime of Allah’s Apostle the moon was split (into two places). (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar), Volume 5, Book 58, Number 210)”

Narrated 'Abdullah: “The moon was split (into two pieces). (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar), Volume 5, Book 58, Number 211)”[3]

According to Maududi, the traditionists and commentators have agreed that this incident took place at Mina in Makkah about five years before the Holy Prophet’s Hijra (migration) to Madinah.

Water through fingers

Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 56, Number 772:

Narrated Anas:

A bowl of water was brought to the Prophet while he was at Az-Zawra. He placed his hand in it and the water started flowing among his fingers. All the people performed ablution (with that water). Qatada asked Anas, “How many people were you?” Anas replied, “Three hundred or nearly three-hundred.”

Another occasion.

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 775:
Narrated Humaid:

Anas bin Malik said, “Once the time of the prayer became due and the people whose houses were close to the Mosque went to their houses to perform ablution, while the others remained (sitting there). A stone pot containing water was brought to the Prophet, who wanted to put his hand in it, but It was too small for him to spread his hand in it, and so he had to bring his fingers together before putting his hand in the pot. Then all the people performed the ablution (with that water).” I asked Anas, “How many persons were they.” He replied, “There were eighty men.”

Another occasion.

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 776:
Narrated Salim bin Abi Aj-Jad:

Jabir bin 'Abdullah said, “The people became very thirsty on the day of Al-Hudaibiya (Treaty). A small pot containing some water was in front of the Prophet and when he had finished the ablution, the people rushed towards him. He asked, ‘What is wrong with you?’ They replied, ‘We have no water either for performing ablution or for drinking except what is present in front of you.’ So he placed his hand in that pot and the water started flowing among his fingers like springs. We all drank and performed ablution (from it).” I asked Jabir, “How many were you?” he replied, “Even if we had been one-hundred-thousand, it would have been sufficient for us, but we were fifteen-hundred.”

Food multiplying

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 778:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:

Abu Talha said to Um Sulaim, “I have noticed feebleness in the voice of Allah’s Apostle which I think, is caused by hunger. Have you got any food?” She said, “Yes.” She brought out some loaves of barley and took out a veil belonging to her, and wrapped the bread in part of it and put it under my arm and wrapped part of the veil round me and sent me to Allah’s Apostle. I went carrying it and found Allah’s Apostle in the Mosque sitting with some people. When I stood there, Allah’s Apostle asked, “Has Abu Talha sent you?” I said, “Yes”. He asked, “With some food? I said, “Yes” Allah’s Apostle then said to the men around him, “Get up!” He set out (accompanied by them) and I went ahead of them till I reached Abu Talha and told him (of the Prophet’s visit). Abu Talha said, “O Um Sulaim! Allah’s Apostle is coming with the people and we have no food to feed them.” She said, “Allah and His Apostle know better.” So Abu Talha went out to receive Allah’s Apostle. Allah’s Apostle came along with Abu Talha. Allah’s Apostle said, “O Um Sulaim! Bring whatever you have.” She brought the bread which Allah’s Apostle ordered to be broken into pieces. Um Sulaim poured on them some butter from an oilskin. Then Allah’s Apostle recited what Allah wished him to recite, and then said, “Let ten persons come (to share the meal).” Ten persons were admitted, ate their fill and went out. Then he again said, “Let another ten do the same.” They were admitted, ate their fill and went out. Then he again said, '”'Let another ten persons (do the same.)" They were admitted, ate their fill and went out. Then he said, “Let another ten persons come.” In short, all of them ate their fill, and they were seventy or eighty men.

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 781:
Narrated Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakr:

The companions of Suffa were poor people. The Prophet once said, “Whoever has food enough for two persons, should take a third one (from among them), and whoever has food enough for four persons, should take a fifth or a sixth (or said something similar).” Abu Bakr brought three persons while the Prophet took ten. And Abu Bakr with his three family member (who were I, my father and my mother) (the sub-narrator is in doubt whether 'Abdur-Rahman said, “My wife and my servant who was common for both my house and Abu Bakr’s house.”) Abu Bakr took his supper with the Prophet and stayed there till he offered the ‘Isha’ prayers. He returned and stayed till Allah’s Apostle took his supper. After a part of the night had passed, he returned to his house. His wife said to him, “What has detained you from your guests?” He said, “Have you served supper to them?” She said, “They refused to take supper) until you come. They (i.e. some members of the household) presented the meal to them but they refused (to eat)” I went to hide myself and he said, “O Ghunthar!” He invoked Allah to cause my ears to be cut and he rebuked me. He then said (to them): Please eat!" and added, I will never eat the meal." By Allah, whenever we took a handful of the meal, the meal grew from underneath more than that handful till everybody ate to his satisfaction; yet the remaining food was more than the original meal. Abu Bakr saw that the food was as much or more than the original amount. He called his wife, “O sister of Bani Firas!” She said, “O pleasure of my eyes. The food has been tripled in quantity.” Abu Bakr then started eating thereof and said, “It (i.e. my oath not to eat) was because of Sa all.” He took a handful from it, and carried the rest to the Prophet. SO that food was with the Prophet . There was a treaty between us and some people, and when the period of that treaty had elapsed, he divided US into twelve groups, each being headed by a man. Allah knows how many men were under the command of each leader. Anyhow, the Prophet surely sent a leader with each group. Then all of them ate of that meal.

Miracle on date palm

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 780:
Narrated Jabir:

My father had died in debt. So I came to the Prophet and said, “My father (died) leaving unpaid debts, and I have nothing except the yield of his date palms; and their yield for many years will not cover his debts. So please come with me, so that the creditors may not misbehave with me.” The Prophet went round one of the heaps of dates and invoked (Allah), and then did the same with another heap and sat on it and said, “Measure (for them).” He paid them their rights and what remained was as much as had been paid to them.

Raining on prayer

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 782:
Narrated Anas:

Once during the lifetime of Allah’s Apostle, the people of Medina suffered from drought. So while the Prophet was delivering a sermon on a Friday a man got up saying, “O Allah’s Apostle! The horses and sheep have perished. Will you invoke Allah to bless us with rain?” The Prophet lifted both his hands and invoked. The sky at that time was as clear as glass. Suddenly a wind blew, raising clouds that gathered together, and it started raining heavily. We came out (of the Mosque) wading through the flowing water till we reached our homes. It went on raining till the next Friday, when the same man or some other man stood up and said, “O Allah’s Apostle! The houses have collapsed; please invoke Allah to withhold the rain.” On that the Prophet smiled and said, “O Allah, (let it rain) around us and not on us.” I then looked at the clouds to see them separating forming a sort of a crown round Medina.

Crying trunk

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 783:
Narrated Ibn Umar:

The Prophet used to deliver his sermons while standing beside a trunk of a datepalm. When he had the pulpit made, he used it instead. The trunk started crying and the Prophet went to it, rubbing his hand over it (to stop its crying).

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 784:
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:

The Prophet used to stand by a tree or a date-palm on Friday. Then an Ansari woman or man said. “O Allah’s Apostle! Shall we make a pulpit for you?” He replied, “If you wish.” So they made a pulpit for him and when it was Friday, he proceeded towards the pulpit (for delivering the sermon). The date-palm cried like a child! The Prophet descended (the pulpit) and embraced it while it continued moaning like a child being quietened. The Prophet said, “It was crying for (missing) what it used to hear of religious knowledge given near to it.”

Imam al-Bukhari and many other scholars of Hadith mentioned a very interesting historical report. From this report we learn how a reasonable leader approached this subject. It is mentioned that after the Treaty of Hudaibiyah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent many letters to the neighboring chiefs and rulers inviting them to Islam. He sent Dihyah al-Kalbi (may Allah be pleased with him) with a letter addressed to the Eastern Roman Emperor Heraclius. He ruled a vast territory of the Middle East at that time. This letter was probably sent to him in the year 628 C.E. Heraclius was in Jerusalem at that time celebrating his victory over the Persians. The letter was given to the governor of Busra, who delivered it to the Emperor. The Emperor was intrigued by this noble letter. He wanted to know more about the one who sent him this letter and whether he was truly Allah’s Messenger.

There was a caravan of Arab traders in the city. Heraclius ordered the caravan people to be brought to his court. Abu Sufian ibn Harb was the chief of this caravan. He was not a Muslim at that time. Actually, he was then one of the enemies of Islam. Later when he became Muslim he reported this whole incident to Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them).

Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Abu Sufian ibn Harb informed me that Heraclius sent a messenger to him while he was accompanying a caravan from the Quraish. They were merchants doing business in the Levant (Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan), at the time when Allah’s Messenger had a truce with Abu Sufian and the unbelievers of the Quraish. So Abu Sufian and his companions went to Heraclius at Ilya’ (Jerusalem). Heraclius called them in the court and he had all the senior Roman dignitaries around him.

He called for his translator who, translating Heraclius’ question, said to them, “Who amongst you is closely related to that man who claims to be a Prophet?”

Abu Sufian replied, “I am the nearest relative to him (among the group).”

Heraclius said, “Bring him close to me and make his companions stand behind him.”

Abu Sufian added [to Ibn `Abbas], “Heraclius told his translator to tell my companions that he wanted to put some questions to me regarding that man (the Prophet) and that if I told a lie they (my companions) should contradict me. By Allah, had I not been afraid of my companions labeling me a liar, I would have lied against him (the Prophet).”

[The dialogue then continued like this.]

Heraclius: What is his family status among you?

Abu Sufian: He belongs to a noble family among us.

H.: Has anyone else among you before him ever claimed the same (i.e., to be a Prophet)?

A.S.: No.

H.: Was anyone among his ancestors a king?

A.S.: No.

H.: Are the strong and powerful following him or the weak and poor?

A.S.: It is the weak and poor that are following him.

H.: Are his followers increasing or decreasing (day by day)?

A.S.: They are increasing.

H.: Does anyone among those who embrace his religion become displeased and leave the religion afterwards?

A.S.: No.

H.: Have you ever accused him of telling lies before his claim (to be a Prophet)?

A.S.: No.

H.: Does he ever betray or is he treacherous in his agreements?

A.S.: No, we are at truce with him but we do not know what he will do in it. (Abu Sufian said [to Ibn `Abbas], “I could not find an opportunity to say anything against him except that word.”)

H.: Have you ever had a fight with him?

A.S.: Yes.

H.: What was the outcome of your battles with him?

A.S.: The fighting between him and us was undecided and victory was shared between him and us by turns.

H.: What does he order you to do?

A.S.: He tells us to worship Allah alone and not to worship anything along with Him, and to renounce all that our ancestors had said. He orders us to pray, to speak the truth, to be chaste and to keep good relations with our kith and kin.

Heraclius said to his translator to convey to him,

[1.] I asked you about his family and your reply was that he belongs to a noble family among you. In fact, all the Messengers come from noble families among their respective peoples.

[2.] I questioned you whether anyone else among you claimed such a thing, and your reply was no. If you had said yes, I would have thought that this person is copying the previous person’s saying.

[3.] I asked you whether anyone of his ancestors was a king. Your reply was no. If you had said yes, I would have thought that the man wants to take back his ancestral kingdom.

[4.] I further asked you whether he was ever accused of telling lies before he said what he said, and your reply was no. So I wonder how a person who does not tell a lie about others could ever tell a lie about Allah.

[5.] I then asked you whether the rich people follow him or the poor. You replied that it was the poor who followed him. In fact, the poor are always the followers of the Messengers.

[6.] I asked you whether his followers are increasing or decreasing. You replied that they were increasing. In fact, this is the way of true faith, till it is complete in all respects.

[7.] I asked you whether there was anyone who, after accepting his religion, became displeased with and abandoned his religion. Your reply was no. In fact, this is the sign of true faith, when its delight penetrates the depths of the hearts.

[8.] I asked you whether he had ever betrayed and your reply was no. Likewise, the Messengers never betray.

[9.] I asked you what he ordered you to do, and your reply was he ordered you to worship Allah, and not to worship anything along with Him and forbade you to worship idols and ordered you to pray, to speak the truth and to be chaste. If what you have said is true, he will very soon occupy this place underneath my feet now. I knew from the scriptures that he was going to come but I did not know that he would be from you. If I could reach him I would go immediately to meet him and if I were with him, I would certainly wash his feet.

Heraclius then asked for the letter addressed by Allah’s Messenger to him. The letter was delivered by Dihya to the governor of Busra, who forwarded it to Heraclius. The letter said: “In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. This letter is from Muhammad, the Servant of Allah and His Messenger to Heraclius the ruler of Byzantines. Peace be upon him who follows the right path. I invite you with the call of Islam. Accept Islam and you will find peace. Allah will double your reward. But if you turn away then you will have upon you the sin of Arisiyyin (his subjects). ( O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah’s Will). ) (Aal `Imran 3: 64)”

Abu Sufian said [to Ibn `Abbas], “When Heraclius finished his speech and read the letter, there arose commotion and many voices in the court, so we were asked to leave.” (Reported by al-Bukhari)

It is possible that Heraclius accepted Islam secretly, but he was unable to declare it because he feared rebellion of his people. However, it is interesting that he tried to consider the Prophetic claim by considering:
  1. The background of the Prophet
  2. His motivations
  3. His effects on his people
  4. His character
  5. His accomplishments
  6. His message
Considering all these aspects of his life, he became convinced that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was indeed the Messenger of Allah.

Hope that is enough miracles.

Muhammad never acknowledged these miracles because they are fabrications made by his followers to keep the flame alive!

When Muhammad was asked by the unbelievers to perform miracles, he just pointed to the Quran as his only miracle! You just want to keep believing the fairytales!

You can keep attacking our faith all you like, but your whole religion is based simply on believing a man’s so-called private and self serving revelations with no other proof! You just accept his word!

Islam may do all it can to disprove other faiths in order to bolster itself, but it will never destroy Christianity, because we have Jesus’ words that even the gates of hell would not prevail against his Church!

It is because, you will never say ‘I DON’T BELIEVE IN BIBLE’.
There you have it… more proof that for a Muslim, doing whatever it takes to gain more converts is more important than being honest.

It doesn’t matter to them if they truly believe what they’re saying is correct, so long as they think they can pick up another recruit. No different than Mo himself would have done.
