Murdered Coptics, Catholics and Orthodox not Christians, says protestant author

This article can go in the trash can for me, just like the book I purchased years ago on Bible prophesy by an evangelical author that stated halfway through that the Catholic Church was the whore of Babylon. I didn’t even finish it, just pitched it in the trash.

I just don’t think it is possible to dialogue. I have been to other sites the last couple of years, and was not moderate after awhile, it all so hurtful, that I told some of them off. I avoid now as much as possible trying to reason and share when they get this extreme.

That is a wise decision when people do not respectfully dialogue.

Because the NIV has about 40 deleted verses and others like NASB have their Calvinist slants.

They are just trying to find and stick to something unchanging, unbiased and reliable.

There are idiot who think that God somehow magically ensured that the kjv was the “true” translation and if you read any other you aren’t “saved” (I kid you not.)
The only time God did that was for the Septuagint.
 
Our pastor shared with us this is so because America does not have religious historical roots, and so it is hard for many to understand our Catholic faith, and fall into these various sects that have no tradition.

My Protestant friends (and yes I do mean friends) keep telling me “Somebody on CAF said that Protestants are led by the devil” or whatever and I’m like, Well I believe you but then why don’t you just Ignore them?

It seems to be an unwritten rule on the internet that the worse you are the more popular you will become!

I am critical of the Catholic teaching “outside the Church there is no salvation”, when it is presented as only those in communion with Rome are in the Church. I am equally critical of this.

NOT the teaching of the Church. That is the heresy of Feenyism. If you are baptized, you are in communion - yet imperfect - with the universal Church. “Shirley” you know this!

“There is simply no possible way to affirm the Christianity of the Greek Orthodox who hold to Greek Orthodox doctrine.” As the saying goes…I got nothin’. This is egregious.
