They did not do it for me , they did not do that for the millions Muslims including those living in the west . How they did it for u ?

The Greek version has not been changed. Nor, for that matter, do I think the revised standard Bible been changed. I’m looking at my copy (e.g. Acts 13:33, Hebrews 1:5) and “begotten” is there.

The Quran calls itself an “Arabic Quran.” Muslims claim it cannot be translated. Well, then it’s only for the Arabs.

But not this Arab.

The Quran is only for the Arabs? Is that really what Muslims say? My Muslim friends have told me that non-Arabs are the majority of Muslims worldwide…I don’t know if that’s true, but if it is I guess the Quran must be a problem for non-Arab Muslims. How incredibly unfair for them to be mistreated by their co-religionists!

I am once more thankful for Galatians 3:28-

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

This is much better than a heirarchy based on who was born where or speaks what language. I can’t believe God would bless such a system. He created us all, after all.

How sad that you cannot openly live your faith around your father and the rest of his side of the family, LoveofGod. I will pray that God may soften their hearts so that they know that you are not a threat to their religion, but a follower of the true God.

I wonder sometimes about the other aspects you’ve posted on, about Muslims in the West. In the town where I live, the second largest foreign-student population at the local university is Saudis, and there are also others from UAE and a few other places. I have befriended a few on very limited terms (as they mostly stick to other Arabic-speakers and Muslims) and found them to be very respectful, though we don’t often discuss religion. Even broaching the subject slightly seems to put them on the defensive, while some others from the same communities have had no trouble openly declaring that they hate the West and can’t wait to return to Saudi. It is a somewhat puzzling situation, these bright young men who hate their surroundings here yet will go out to clubs and engage in the very Western decadence they claim to eschew, with drinking, dancing and all the rest. I don’t understand it.

Easy. Conversion of external conformity, not of the inner heart.

The Muslims claim it is universal, but how if your prayers must be in Arabic, your scripture in Arabic, etc. The hadith corpus and the Sunnah also put an Arabic framework for all societies.

Muslims have argued with me that Islam is for non-Arabs too, but have yet to explain how that is logically consistent.

Yes, the majority of Muslims are non-Arab.

trinity is not that complicated
if the quran is god’s word, god’s word certainly can manifest into a human ( unless you want to limit what god can do )
and god’s word is obviously from god, and it’s not about language or sound
the word is meaning, escence, substance, idea
language is limited and only a tool to symbolize
( i. e. you can burn a book and whats written in it, but you cant kill the story or what idea it represents )
there are many ways of delivering a story, trough a movie,
a book, etc.

if god is more than we can imagine, it’s stupid that god only speaks arabic, it makes sense more if the guide is a life ( a human act is universal ), than a book written in an ancient language where a word can have up to dozens of meaning, thus misunderstood and complicate things

and if moslems read and live by the quran, than christians celebrate jesus and act accordingly ( unfortunately, not many christians do ), and the bible is a testimony to jesus

as i understand it, trinity would vaguely be like sun+sunray+sunwarmth = one sun

Amazing! The Muslims claim the OT is corrupt (Deuteronomy is in the OT), and the religion is corrupt, and yet they insist that the NT (which they also claim is corrupt) account of the corrupt Jews somehow proves that Muhammad is “the prophet.”

Islam is nothing despite the supposed support of the Bible, for the Bible never supports Islam. Muslims always pick up few verses to twist their meaning and adapt them to their Koran. These attempts always end in failure.

Islam is nothing without the support of the Bible, for the Koran is in desperate need of another religious scripture that will testify to it. However, the Bible rejects from the start the notion of revelation (dictation and manipulation) peculiar to Islam.

Muslims can be happy neither with the Bible nor without it. Melancholia! LOL

Even a bigger mistake: the Jews do NOT claim that Ezrah is the Son of God, although the Quran claims they do.

Correct brother,I also showed the error to my father and then he shout at me that DID ALLAH MAKE MISTAKE?and my father also tried to prove that some jewish think ezra as son of God.but i told that no jewish think so.but he replied me that allah cant make mistake so some jewish think that!!!now think buddies if we will find mathematical error that is also correct because allah can’t make mistake.so if allah says that 2+2=5 then it is also correct.but our question is what allah exactly said?and those mistakes of koran prove that not allah or God(if we think that allah and God is same!),muhammed wrote koran.but isa be sure,our muslim friends won’t reply this posts or won’t answer those question.but some time they edit their own scripture,you saw that!!bless u.

BTW, you always mock our metaphors and similes in the NT. I shall not imitate your rude behaviour and not ask you if Allah is a fireman because of the following verse in the Koran:

Surah 5:64
As often as they light a fire for war, Allah extinguisheth it.

First, in the analogy the Father is the Sun, the Son Christ is the Sunlight.

I like the analogy of the Vitamin D a lot: shows how communion with the Bread of Life gives us Life.
