** Thanks D i L, Your response is appropriate. But there are two of them, the father and the son. They are two. John is teaching. From where? From his mind. Not from God or Jesus.

I believe in Jesus. But I do not know about christ because that is some Greek stuff. I do not trust the Greek pagan mythology.

I believe Jesus was masih. That is good enough. Jesus is Masih and he was the son of a woman.**
LOL You do not know that the word Christ is the equivalent of Messiah (Masih) in Greek? It is high time you did some research.

BTW; Islam adopted both the name Jesus (Issa) and Gospel (Injeel) from Greek through transliteration without using the original words in Arabic. This is why the Koran has the name Issa (Isus in Greek) rather than Yesuwa and the name Injeel (Evangelio in Greek) rather than al-bishara (good news).

So he was the son of a woman who was his father?

John is saying that the father and the son are one. That to know one is to know the other.

Christ is the Great word for Messiah.

How come then you claim that Koran is from God? It is just the teaching of Muhammad. From where? From his mind. Not from God. Period.
No it was not from his mind an angel told it to him. This angel said that Jesus was not the son of God and denied his deity. By the evidence presented we can determine which angel that was.

Any response to this, dear planten:

Quarter of clergy do not believe in the Virgin Birth

By Chris Hastings and Fiona Govan

(Filed: 22/12/2002)

More than a quarter of Church of England clergy do not believe in the virgin birth of Christ, according to a survey carried out by The Telegraph.

**A poll of 500 clerics found that 27 per cent privately reject the
traditional story of Jesus’s birth, which forms a vital part of the Nativity. **

The view of a Hampshire vicar was typical. “There was nothing special about his birth or childhood - it was his adult life that was extraordinary,” he said.

He declined to be named, saying: “I have a very traditional bishop and this is one of those topics I do not go public on. I need to keep the job I have got.”

The survey will dismay traditionalists inside and outside the Church of England.

Many of the sceptics who took part in the survey, one of the biggest ever conducted by a newspaper, said that the story of the virgin birth was a product of poor biblical translations and literary tradition rather than divine intervention.

Muslim woman the verse in question is not one that is in dispute. They are refering to the Genesis account. They are saying that there is no science in the Genesis account. But nice try to make something that has been talked about before by the Church. This is not some new revelation.

Unfortunately, you are not being honest by ignoring the context and details of the article in question. Here is what the title of that article is actually related to:

**
The Catholic bishops of England, Wales and Scotland are warning their five million worshippers, as well as any others drawn to the study of scripture, that they should not expect “total accuracy” from the Bible.

“We should not expect to find in Scripture full scientific accuracy or complete historical precision,” they say in The Gift of Scripture.

Should we be surprised by this? I have found that being dishonest is the Muslim MO. That is what they do best. Then they cry no we don’t do that, but then moments later they lie again.

Since when will a conspiracy theorist be honest about anything?

Being an outsider, you are not placed to properly evaluate matters of faith within the Catholic Church founded by our Lord Jesus Christ. You are trying the same false tricks as anti-Christian-Catholic, anti-Church and anti-Christ have used. You are not interested by the Truth at all, madame, I’m afraid, and so I have to dismiss your attempts at defiling our faith with falsenesses. enough with it! may the Lord God forgive you and have mercy on you if you really are interested in following the ways of the One True God… You are NOT doing it here. And so, though I wish you well, right now you are not worth listening to. Sorry!

I didnt see anything in your response that about Muhammad being the anti christ, which is why i put this as a response in the first place.
It clearly says that anyone that does not believe Jesus is Christ, is the anti christ, so again, dear planten, i ask you this:
Is Muhammad the anti christ or not, and if you say not, i want you to explain why not, keeping in mind the bible says CLEARLY he is the anti christ, because he denies Jesus.!

Father, please forgive them because they don’t know what they have done. Amen

This is behind the point. The Koran always talks of Mary and Jesus in the same context as it denounces the Christian Trinity. I shall not buy the argument that this is a miraculous coincidence.

Muslims have a different view from yours. I can say what you said later on…where does it say in the Qur’an that Mary is in the Trinity? It’s your interpretation of that verse. People have idols in their lives. Does that mean those idols are part of a Trinity? No. They are idols apart from God.

Besides, where does the Koran refer to the genuine Christian Trinity? Where does it condemn Christians for worshipping the Triune God as it is stated in the NT (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)???

“They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a Trinity, for there is no god except One God” (Quran 5:73)

It doesn’t say specifically Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. My personal opinion: I believe it doesn’t because people at that time knew what the Trinity was. I understand that you don’t believe this.

You cannot dismiss what M W has written, just like that. She has only presented the data. That is not her own. The best you could do would be to refute that data or prove that she quoted something wrong.
But if it is all there then it is better to face it for the purpose of the matter under discission. Thanks
.

** Muhammad did not deny jesus. If Christ means Masiha then it is good. The Muslims believe that Jesus was the Masiha but the Jews did not recognise him, just as they did not recognise John the baptist. There is plenty of material on both Jesus and John in chapter 3 and 19 of the Quran.

So Muhammad admitted that Jesus was the Masiha. Muhammad is not the anti-christ. The anti-christ will openly abuse Jesus. That is not the case in Islam.**

But Planten, Jesus himself said “I and the Father are ONE”. Certainly Muslims do not believe that Jesus is one with the Father, so while you may not abuse Jesus, you do deny what He Himself said regarding His own divinity. This is done because Muhammad says to do so.

I am glad that Muslims love Jesus. Really, I think that is great. And of course, there is EVERYTHING to love about Him! But please understand that when Christians say that Muhammad or his followers deny Jesus, it is because from our viewpoint you do, just like it is your viewpoint as a Muslim that we are polytheists because we worship “three Gods” (Muhammad’s misunderstanding of the Christian Trinity).

Lapell, I suggest you would better spend your time correcting the alleged clergy who ought to know better, than dealing with the selective choice of data. Neither M W nor Platen, I suspect, would like to talk about Benedict XVI.

Then you didn’t know that.

Islam teaches that Satan whispers, not shouts, into the breast of man, no?

yes, either call the fruit and tree good or the fruit and tree bad. We only say what Christ said, and your reaction…consider you are saying it to Christ.

U mean the clerics who don’t believe in the Virgin birth or those who told Christians there is errror in bible ?

Those missionaries who try to convert Muslims , I wonder if they tell these things to them.
