Then there are the commandments given in Torah that were given to all mankind, not just the Jews. What many call the Noahide laws.
Yes God does not welcome evil, just like he does like those who habour hates towards evil. Coz hates is a way Satan promotes evilGod Himself doesn’t welcome evil.

And how do you know they are bearing arms. I assure you there are “good” muslims just as there are “bad” muslims, and “good” Catholics just as there are “bad” Catholics.Just because we are to love our neighbors, does not mean to let them into your house bearing arms. Just because you cannot see those arms, does not mean they are not there.
islam is the one true enemy of the Church. Satan is known as the Great Deceiver, and he’s done a great job on you guys.
I’m waiting for the day when I see Catholics, and Christians of all denominations, finally begin to defend themselves again against islam. When will we fight for ourselves and our faith? When is enough enough?
Once we finally overcome the deceitful “nation of islam,” we can get back to trying to bring all Christians back together under the Pope.
I have to say I was very shocked to read some of these links. I don’t know if this reflects the official teaching of Islam, but I find it very disturbing that someone would say, on behalf of Allah, that Jewish and Christian festivals are “evil”That’s more a reflection on the person, rather than the faith.
That person simply doesn’t know what Moslems are supposed to do.
See these bits of advice from an Islamic site
It is not permissible to congratulate the kuffaar on their festivals in any way whatsoever

Prohibition on celebrating the festivals of the kuffaar

She makes cards for festivals and sells them – is that permissible

I was just saying, Christians ‘attack’ too…Let the one without sin cast the first stone
I can’t believe you said that. They didn’t cast any stones alright. How about thousands of bombs, bullets, and a couple of airliners? So I guess fighting back is a sin? I guess defending myself is a sin?
I specifically bolded a couple parts of those quotes for you. Read them again. And comparing people before Christ was born doesn’t really work either. The had the old Testament to follow. With Jesus, came new laws. Read the OT without considering the NT and tell me that a Hindu or muslim or Budhist would be saved prior to the birth of Christ.
That is possibly one of the saddest things I have ever heard. And finally, you are right on one point. I can love a fellow creature of God that is a muslim. But I will not really ever be friends with him.
This is exactly what I’m talking about. Their very faith prevents them from being your friend. I say that should put you on guard when one claims to be. If it came down to it, and he/she denied thier muslim faith to be friends with you, then there is hope. Perhaps this lack of understanding of thier faith, or lack of conviction in it, is a good oportunity to guide them to Christ. No, a muslim could not have been saved prior to the Savior’s coming to Earth simply because there were no muslims then.
Interesting thread. One thing is clear, that the value of the muslim friend is in himself and not the muslim faith, for the Koran forbids friendship with Christians and Jews.
I think it is just as fair to say that your very faith prevents you from being friends with them. This is exactly what I’m talking about. Their very faith prevents them from being your friend. But as long as they deny Christ and claim to be muslim, they are not your friend.
Only if they love GodBut doesn’t he welcome all his children, regardless of their ethnicity, beliefs, character, or rectitude?
Wrong. I’m friends with many people who are not Catholic. Many of them try to convert me all the time, but none have declared war on me. None of their beliefs dictate that all non-believers should be killed and Christians should be enslaved.I think it is just as fair to say that your very faith prevents you from being friends with them.
They also advise that although its’ permissible for a Moslem man to marry a Christian woman, she’s not permitted to practice ‘evil’ in the house.I have to say I was very shocked to read some of these links. I don’t know if this reflects the official teaching of Islam, but I find it very disturbing that someone would say, on behalf of Allah, that Jewish and Christian festivals are “evil”
In WWII both the Germans and British bombed cities. Do you see any difference between them?I was just saying, Christians ‘attack’ too…
Just as an interesting (I hope) point…No, a muslim could not have been saved prior to the Savior’s coming to Earth simply because there were no muslims then.

It’s one thing to ‘associate’ it’s another to turn a blind eye.Funny that people are criticising her for associating with Muslim friends. Didn’t they say the same thing to jesus when he associated with Samaritans?
I don’t remember ever coming across that - could you please provide a link to the actual document so that I can see what specific practices it refers to?They also advise that although its’ permissible for a Moslem man to marry a Christian woman, she’s not permitted to practice ‘evil’ in the house.
I was not criticising her. I was simply warning her.Funny that people are criticising her for associating with Muslim friends. Didn’t they say the same thing to Jesus when he associated with Samaritans?
