I can’t quote any statistics off the top of my head, but I have researched the subject.Look at the proportions of converts (or “reverts” as Mohammedans bizarrely call them) who become violent extremists, for example. I think it is well recognized that prison is a recruiting ground for Islam. Also it is well recognized that many female converts are converts by marriage - I can verify that from personal observation certainly.Clerics in Iran are given their wages by the state, Rocky.
And do you have any statistics to support your claim that converts to Islam are ‘mostly women marrying Muslim men, convicts or wackos’ Jack? Or are we just gonna play the stupid Christian anti-Islamic polemic games so typical of those insecure in their religion (funny how atheists, Jews, Mandaeans, Zoroastrians, Polytheists etc never resort to such immature tactics).
Muslims regularly attack Christianity in the mosques. Saudi Arabia bans the import of anything related to Christianity. Christians get falsely accused of blasphemy in Pakistan regularly. The above is just yet another example…
Where is this article you guys are making all this fuss about? I have looked in both sites and can’t find it.Here is a man who knew Islam backwords and forwards. He sacrificed everything and endangered his life to accept Christ. This is why they work so hard to avoid having their people hear about Christianity. They know they will lose.

I would like to have a look at the article. Can you give us a link directly to the article? It was in the first site. Look back a few days. Basically an Islamic Imam converted to Christianity and the muslims are having a hissy fit. They don’t want to believe it.
Okay you guys; I got no joy out of your links, so I have scoured the Internet for an “imam converting to Christianity!”, and this Utube narration is the closest thing that I have found:I would like to have a look at the article. Can you give us a link directly to the article?

That story has a second sequel, which you can watch here:Okay you guys; I got no joy out of your links, so I have scoured the Internet for an “imam converting to Christianity!”, and this Utube narration is the closest thing that I have found:

Kadaveri, you must have been very tired when posted the above. Don’t worry I fixed it for you (the corrections are in red). Now it makes sense!I was referring to the quite blatant trait in criticising Christians/Christianitythat is so significantly more common amongst muslims than any other religion group, that any argument is supported based solely on its conclusion rather than its merit.
This is purely a qualitative perception, but I don’t think it can be reasonably disregarded that this trend is very peculiar to muslims. It’s certainly very rare that I’ve seen any Jews, Mandaeans, Zoroastrians or even Polytheists argue against Christianitywith such irrational logic. Why is this? The only explanatin I’ve given much consideration is that muslims, unlike any others, see Christianity as their primary ‘competitor’ so to speak, perhaps even their nemesis, thus there is a far more prevalent trait of supporting anything that could be utilised to attack or discredit Christianity, even if it is complete drivel.
Okay, so we conclude that there have been more than one “imam” converting to Christianity from Islam. But you must agree that my “imam” was more impressive than your “imam”!I googled it and it came right up.

What a surprise, in a country with mandatory service to the state via the military, how unusual to have a citizen with intelligence background!Who knows if the “poor” Imam is even real.
77 US dollar a month, and they’re bragging about that as if he sacrificed it all to become Christian? That makes me seriously doubt that there’s been even a basic fact check on this. I mean come on…a currency converter is on the net.
Memri.org isn’t Muslim TV, it’s Israeli intelligence on the web. (Not an exaggeration-it is founded and run by Israeli intelligence officials.)
Perhaps we should START:thumbsup:You will notice we don’t kill those clergy who convert to Islam.
And this argument of yours is based on what?I was referring to the quite blatant trait in criticising Islam/Muslims that is so significantly more common amongst Christians than any other religion group, that any argument is supported based solely on its conclusion rather than its merit.

The imam called one of the phone counselors connected to Iran for Christ Ministries and prayed to receive Christ in early February. “The man has been watching Christian TV programs for the past two years,” Baghestani said. “He said he has believed since he began watching the programs but his salvation was sealed through his confession.”
I share the scepticism about this article. Knowing the verses of the Quran by heart is hardly something restricted to mullah’s in Iran. I believe most of the world Muslims can quote huge chunks of the Quran.“This man knows all the verses of the Qur’an by heart,” he added. “After he began watching, doubt began in his heart about the Islamic faith.”
