I don’t get it. If he died married to someone, that person(s) will be his wives in paradise. good so the 4 will be his wives in paradise but maybe the divorced ones nothing?

am trying to understand this kind of “paradise” as illustrated by mohammad.

Why not begin at the basics? Such as our concept of God? i already know a good deal about this…i even went further : to the origin of quran’s doctrines.

It seems you have a problem with physical lust, like there is something wrong with it. It is natural.

Also that is not the only thing that keeps us chaste, we do it for God’s pleasure, because he told us to.

I never met one Muslim who stays chaste just so he can have a wife in heaven. We are allowed to get married in this life, however humans naturally like food, drink, and their spouses, thus God tells us that we will have it in paradise as well.

then what do you make of Jesus saying there is no such thing? pls dont say it is corrupt cuz if people corrupted it they should have made it like muhammad’s paradise, that is, appealing to human wordly desires.

Allah will give them husbands from Paradise. Let me put it this way, in Paradise everyone will be 100% happy no matter what, if they are single, have a billion spouses, a billion homes, or no homes at all. The point is they will be happy. So if you are worried about anyone being opressed or unhappy in paradise, please put your worries to the side, as they won’t.

I always thought those guys (suicide bombers) weren’t too bright. The other thing they failed to realize is that virginity does not equal beauty. I mean, there may be a reason these 70+ virgins are virgins, after all.

you will be with your ‘earthly’ wife in paradise…and the virgins could either mean literally virgins or pure…but they are usually supposed to be like your servant or maids…
and i dont know where the number 72 comes from. probably from some hadith… and the people who says that suicide bomber blow themselves up for 72 virgins are pretty ignorant… anyways im not judging anybody but if you blow yourselfup and kill civilians, its likely you aint going to paradise anyways.

You’re wrong…try giving Theology of the Body by Pope John Paul II a read. We believe sex is unitive and procreative. The only time sex is sinful is when it is outside of the marriage bond.

If you are looking at sex as a “reward”, that sounds like a selfish act to me. To us sex should not be a selfish act, rather it should be a self-giving act.

this world is not paradise…in heaven you will be literally in His presence …i have the impression that paradise to muslims is self-centered instead of being God-centered…thats why i say it is the projection of a human mind.

no marriage and sex and wordly desires in Jesus’ words…Jesus said : he does not belong to this world and these are the words of someone who does not belong to this earth and those are the words of mohammad who, according to Jesus, doesnt know the scriptures. and whose paradise is a projection of an earthly mind.

If your asking about the quality of this hapiness, it will be complete happiness.

Yes you are right, however something extra wouldn’t be bad either would it? God tells us we can have Him as well as everything else. Can you show me where your religion teaches that you will be with God?
