In fairness, I think part of the problem here is that Christians and Muslims (and Jews) have a very different concept of the body vs. soul.
Christians seem to see a clear distinction between the two, and the things that are good for the soul are what you’ll find in heaven.
I know for certain that this split is not characteristic of Judaism, so perhaps Emad can tell us about the body and soul in Islam. I can imagine perfectly well that a formless, shapeless heaven would make no sense to a faith that does not recognize a hard separation between bodily and spiritual things.

It is chastity. Certainly they are created for heaven and there is no such thing as unhappiness in heaven. They are not from this world.

I said this before…and i think its appropriate to say it again here. Why dont we worry about getting to Paradise, instead of debating what is going to be there?
they arent people who lived in this world. they are created as one of the pleasures of those people in heaven. What is meant behind the fact that they are virgins, means that they were created for the pleasure of that one person, never having been touched by anyone else.
I said this before…and i think its appropriate to say it again here. Why dont we worry about getting to Paradise, instead of debating what is going to be there?

I agree, but I have a couple of questions concerning your statements below:
Are they beings who have always been in heaven, or are they created especially for those who go to heaven when they get there?
Does “virgin” in this sense mean untouched sexually or is there some other meaning?
Do they remain virgins?

I dont know. A long time ago, i heard in a lecture that they do remain virgins…but i dont remmeber the lecture, nor if that information comes from an authentic hadith or not.
I’ll tell you what i do know: that every single person who makes it into paradise, will be happy. This is what God has said and thats all i need to know
