I am not you, so I cannot give you a definitive answer. It really comes down to this. When Jesus was on earth, He told everyone to leave all of their possesions and even the ones they loved. If this boyfriend of yours is going to hold you or your children back in their faith, then this may be a risk you don’t want to take. You said your boyfriend would be okay if you raised your kids Catholic, but that doesn’t mean he won’t try to show them his viewpoint. Them and you rejecting Jesus Christ is pretty much the worst possible thing. I know this is in no way easy, but in the end, I think your spiritual life would be better off without him. You have to take a really hard look at this, but if he is between you and Christ, you should split from him.
In the end, it really come down to, “Do you trust God?” If you do, He will provide for you and comfort you. You life as a whole will be better and more complete. It may hurt now, but it may just save your future.
Best wishes, ccmnxc.
