When a solder was brutally murdered on a busy London street by two fanatical Moslems, a murder that has been covered internationally in the media, a fearless London woman went to talk with one of the murderers, who was still holding his bloody knives, in hope of keeping him from further bloodshed. This article tells the faith what motivated her. Enlightening news. I had a feeling she and possibly the other lady that knelt with the body were possibly catholics.
 
I saw her speaking on TV and had a heck of a time with the accent , but did hear my Catholic faith part…😃 Good for her.
 
Actually there were two different people who were hailed as heroes and both were practicing Catholics. The first was Ingrid Loyau-Kennett the woman who spoke to the terrorists (mentioned above). The second angel was Amanda Donnelly and her daughter who had just been to mass when they came across the scene. Mrs Donnelly and her daughter walked up to the soldier before the police arrived and tried to help him.

Less than one in ten of the English population is Catholic and therefore statistically it’s extraordinary that the heroes in this tradegy are Catholics. Out of all those on the scene it was those filled with the Holy Spirit who came forward.
 
A Catholic is martyred by an ex-Catholic, who was stopped by two Catholics.

This story sums both the tragedy and hope for the Catholic Church.
