I’ll try to be as brief as I can - my husband is 63, a retired sheriff’s deputy of 27 yrs. He was married 32 years to his first wife who suffered 3 years with cancer. He cashed in his pension to pay her medical bills, which he does not regret (nor do I). However, he still had to file bankruptcy. We have been married almost 3 years and he is in RCIA, waiting for my annulment so he can be accepted into the church. The problem, however, is financial. He works at a private club, dependent on gratuities. His income is down more than $10,000 from the past two years. At his age it is difficult to find a new, better paying job. I work full time but was downsized twice and make much less than I used to. We don’t want a magnificent lifestyle. We just want to cover the bills. He is going to look for a part time job (won’t let me). Besides the fact that he is exhausted now as he works 6 days a week (Tues-Sun) I work the typical M-F and we only see each other in the evenings now. We are willing to do whatever is necessary, but he is very stressed about the situation. I am asking for relief for him, whether it is financial or emotional. Thanks and God bless you.

i am struggling to find work also. I will say a prayer for you.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Please say the following prayer right now to release 1,000 souls from purgatory (Approval and Recommendation signed by M. Cardinal Pahiarca, Lisbon, Portugal March 4, 1936.): Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy Souls in Purgatory. Amen

Found this on the seton home study website . . .hope it helps:

Dear St.Juan Deigo, when Our Lady of Tepeyac Hill, Holy Mary of Guadalupe, gave the world her miraculous picture on your tilma, she also gave you the task to fill you days with happy labor. It was your privilege and joy to spend hours caring for the Chapel of the Tilma, telling its blessed story to those who came there. Here the time of your earthly pilgrimage passed happily because you worked for Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Dear St.Juan Diego, please help my husband find steady employment that his time and work may be devoted to the tasks suited for his nature and ability, and suited for service to Alimghty God. May the hours of toil give fair return and more to him who hires my husband. May the work be done not for mere profit or only to make a living. May it also be done to make my husband more able to honor Almighty God. May the work be done with reverence and appreciation of the materials supplied by God and modified by man. May the work be done to promote and to enjoy the the benfits of skilled and honest labor.
Most especially, allow the work to make Our Lady known and to lead others to love Our Lady of Gaudalupe who you, St.Juan Diego, served so well. Through Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

We are struggling with finances too, you are in my prayers.

Keeping you in prayer with St. Joseph the Worker re employment and with the Infant of Prague for your financial concerns…May The Lord grant you strength and consolation in Him …

Lord, You see us in our times of need and always provide, an di ask that You provide today and always for Your faithful servents sjegts and her husband. Please provide substancial employment for them, that will exceed all of their expectations. Please show them Your greatness and powerful love above and beyond their prayers. In the name of Your son Jesus I pray. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

I have placed your petitions within my heart and will carry them with me to Mass and I will remember your petitions in my daily prayers.

Merciful Lord of all, cast Your loving gaze upon this couple and see the love that they share, the love they spread, and the love they have for you. In Your Eternal grace, arrange events so that they may receive relief from the day’s worries, that they may take supreme comfort in Your protection, and that they may rest in the shadow of Your wing. I ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever. Amen.

I WILL PRAY FOR YOU TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN AND PADRE PIO. …SINCERELY, PUFF.

Dear friend, I’m sorry for your struggle. You sound like very generous people, and I ask God to be generous to you both.
I claim for you God’s promise: "Give, and there will be gifts for you: a full measure.” [Luke 6:38]
