Whoever sent him death threats were extremely unwise, and makes the rest of us who believe in the Real Presence look bad, not just Catholics.
I have seen you post this in two threads now. Why are you worrying so much about a few misguided people who sent “threats”, none of which were carried out, when the man who instigated this entire escapade actually carried out his “threat” now? Myers got hundreds of polite e-mails from Catholics, too. None of which I have seen posted on his blog.Whoever sent him death threats were extremely unwise, and makes the rest of us who believe in the Real Presence look bad, not just Catholics.
I’m currently reading Fr. Amorth’s books, and that was the first thing I thought of when I heard about it. I’m so afraid that we’re going to be seeing more of this.I just heard an interesting discussion about this situation…on the Catholic Radio Station in my area, the host of the program had on a priest (didn’t catch his name) that worked closely with Fr. Amorth the famous exorcist. I came in at the end of the program and he ran by him the Professor Myers desecration and asked his view on this…absolutely and without a doubt demonic from the core from the actual desecration to the whisperings of foul play with the Eucharist. Especially when publicized to this extent, it is meant to cause torment to God’s people. He said that the professor has either invoked the help of Satan or is in complete co operation with him, and he is in very very grave danger. He is inviting eternal and everlasting disaster, was how he put it. He prayed for him and for all that have been affected by this sacrilege.
According to myers comment #200 on the great desecration the host is consecrated.Considering the fact that Myers has said he has already carried out his “threats”, I can see why you feel confident enough to underline it. Now the question is, how do we even know he had consecrated hosts? I saw someone on his blog saying he could easily buy a bag of unconsecrated hosts online. For instance, from a Protestant site like this:
kingdom.com/category.aspx?categoryID=430&adcode=Google&gclid=CNXE7pOy2ZQCFSY1agod6SG0lQ
Or here:
churchsupplywarehouse.com/catalog_subcategory.asp_Q_categoryId_E_63_A_Altar_Breads_E_Altar_Breads?gclid=CPSjrr6y2ZQCFQv7agodSFqjlA
%between%I knew the first thing that would happen is that the loons would claim it is a fake cracker. The one I chose to photograph is one that the sender actually provided video documentation of where it came from.
Not that there’s any substantial difference between the consecrated and unconsecrated version.

Guy in the striped shirt takes a cracker hostage in the Brompton Oratory, London, on 13th July 2008. The Catholic Church forfeits all rights to respect for its ludicrous beliefs, including 'transubstantiation', while its anti-condom campaign in Africa results in tens of thousands of deaths. The cracker will be kept wrapped in a condom until the Catholic Church recognises the legitimacy of the Golden Rule.
I’m as disgusted as any good Catholic. The ones who sent him threats played right into his hands.I have seen you post this in two threads now. According to Myers… but he is obviously a very troubled “man”. Being a liar, too, is not out of the realm of possibilities.According to myers comment #200 on the great desecration the host is consecrated.

Many Eucharistic miracles have occurred over the centuries following a desecration…That will not happen.
Quote:
“How many insults must Jesus Christ have suffered in this Sacrament, in order to remain with us. Some have trampled on the Sacred Host, and others have thrown It into the mire. He foresaw all these injuries; but still He resolved to remain with us on the altar, that we might not be deprived of His amiable presence.”
St. Peter Julian Eymard
I’m not wasting my time e-mailing Mr. Myers. The guy obviously has a mental problem (I’m thinking he’s got an Antisocial Personality Disorder, I think someone else mentioned that as well), and anyone as hateful and spiteful as he is, well who knows what he’s capable of, and I’m certainly not giving him my e-mail address. This guy reminds me of Proverbs 29:22, “An angry man stirs up strife, And a hot-tempered man abounds in transgression.”Emailing would do the opposite of what you people want to get out of it, infact he’d be even more thrilled, the less commotion that comes out of it, and the more silent prayer on the matter will see a better outcome.
Basics…
Funny that this was not the first thing I thought of…usually it is…but when I heard Fr. talking about this it made perfect sense to me. He seems to be cooperating with Satan as one of his little puppets. This is all indicative of the great need of prayer from God’s people. We need to be vigilant at communion, even if stationing a hospitality minister to watch as people consume the host…whatever it takes. And we need to pray the Divine Chaplet for him as Deacon Ed suggested, and for all those who are saluting him as their hero for this…daily!I’m currently reading Fr. Err yes I agree, but I’m not the one emailing.I’m not wasting my time e-mailing Mr. Myers. If you feel the need to e-mail someone, e-mail the President of the University and the Board of Regents and kindly let them know your opinion.
As for whether it’s real or not, I think the guy made the whole thing up. He’s been lying all along, so why would something change now.![]()
sorry. didn’t meant to imply that you had.Err yes I agree, but I’m not the one emailing.
