Just curious… what are yall’s thoughts on sending naked or half naked pictures of yourself to your spouse while you are apart for an extended period of time?

I’m assuming this would definitely not fall under the category of pornography, since it’s the person you’re married to and love/are committed to for life, and not some random stranger whom you don’t even care about.

This would definitely NOT be considered pornography. I actually think this is a romantic thing to do. If it helps keep the spark alive, and helps to think of your spouse while you are apart, I would think think this is very healthy and unitive.

Absolutely not! There is no reason to do that - presumably your husband already knows what you look like naked.

The pictures on your phones or computers could easily be seen by others. If he is going to immediately delete the picture after receiving it, what is the point? If one of you shows other pictures to a friend from your phone or pc, the wrong picture could accidentally be seen!

It is positvely wicked to allow your body to be exposed to any person, even your husband or yourself. You should avoid looking in the mirror unless you are fully clothed.

Definitely something to think about, but I was more interested in your opinion regarding the morality of it.

I sincerely hope this was a sarcastic comment.

😃 Haha!

I have my own opinion about this topic… I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, but I was just curious to hear other ppl’s opinions.

Hahaha, I say knock yourself out, and don’t worry about everyone elses opinion. Everyone has an opinion, and you know what they say about opinions.

Deja vu. It seems I recall you saying this to me before.

In my opinion, it really depends on the pictures and what your husband does with them. Some men are given to masturbation and other forms of sexual impurity so if this was the case it would definately be sinful. If you are simply encouraging him to hurry home, then it probably isn’t a sin. However, I think in both cases it is unwise, since the pictures could accidentally be seen by others and in the most unfortunate manner. My step-father and his coworkers thought it was funny so send photos of genitalia to each other. (Apparantly this is what construction workers do on their union-mandated breaks) My stepfather didn’t realize that the pictures were being saved on his account. Meanwhile, my sister went into the Tmobile store to update her phone and the sales guy pulled up the family plan. She noticed there were photos in the folder and …click… You get the idea.

bwahahahahahaha!!!

I don’t think it’s wrong at all, but I would need to be REALLY sure it would never get out. These days, that’s hard to ensure. A bikini shot, t shirt and panties, or something similar, I wouldn’t be as nervous about others seeing so I might compromise with that.

I am probably a little more lax on sexuality between spouses than some, though 🙂

Those seem like excellent points to me. IMHO, I wouldn’t send them.

Indeed. If your husband suffers with sexual impurity, I would say it would be unwise to take such photos, along with sinful.

Personally, if I was in this situation, I would err on the side of caution (sinfulness as well as the possibility they may be seen by others like in the unfortunate circumstance Allegra mentioned :p) and not take the photos. Perhaps you could send a romantic message?

The morality of sending your husband naked photos of you while apart for an extended period of time?

This could be considered leading your husband to near occasion of sin (ie masturbation). It is also possible do to internet problems that your photo could become leaked to the public and lead others to sin.

Why not send him a sexy/cutesy (in good taste) photo? Maybe be playful with him via photos while apart from each other? 🙂

I don’t believe there is anything immoral or pornographic about it if done in good taste, but I don’t think it’s prudent because they can be seen by more than just the person they’re intended for.

I would definitely not do it. You and your spouse should just hold out and wait until you see each other and then your spouse can see the real thing rather than just an imitation.

Sending naked photos has never been a very good idea and I have known many “faithful” spouses who had no issues with sharing the photos with their friends, unbeknownst to their spouse who sent them. Bottom line: BAD IDEA.

Here’s how I see it.
It would be a very bad idea if other people (meaning other than one’s spouse) were to see the picture.

There’s nothing wrong with it morally, but what I wonder is when you send it out via email or text message, doesn’t it go out somewhere to a server somewhere to then be delivered to your husband’s email or cell phone? When you email it or text it, it goes out over the airways who knows where it stops at or passes through before reaching it’s destination. But if you take like a polaroid physical picture and mail it where it’s not over airways I don’t see anything wrong with it. 🙂

Lol, he doesn’t.

And besides, he’s currently in Officer Training for the Air Force. It’s like a boot camp except harder. Even if he did struggle with impurity, he wouldn’t have the energy, time, or privacy to do anything about it.
