I think that part that is troubling to me is that you are refusing that it COULD, not that it automatically will, be a problem and have already dismissed that you and your husband will never, never, ever experience the problems that sending these kind of photos can cause. And you are right, we are not all the same people, but you won’t be the same person you are now once you go through a deployment or long separation. You won’t be the same married couple, your marriage will not be the same as it was before a deployment as it will be after. It can either be stronger, or it can be weaker. You have to consider that, and you can not guarantee you will or your husband will react to the issues a long separation brings up as you might think you will at this point in your relationship. It is not wise to say it will never happen to us as a married couple.Sorry…
I appreciate the advice, and the discussion has been interesting… so thank you for the (name removed by moderator)ut. I just don’t agree that it’ll be a problem for the reasons I’ve given, that’s all. You may have gone through some similar circumstances with your husband being gone, but that doesn’t mean we’re all the same people and will automatically react to circumstances exactly the same.
