I’ll sheepishly go first:
In the 1980s, Cheerios released a novel recipe called “Hot Buttered Cheerios.” It’s just Cheerios heated in butter in a saute pan with a bit of salt added. I’m mildly ashamed to say I still love it. Something very comforting about it.
And growing up, whenever she’d fry hamburgers, my mom would take a piece of bread and soak up the grease and crusty bits left in the pan and share it with me. Horribly, disgustingly unhealthy. But heaven.
My husband lovingly thinks I’m mad for eating both.
