I love peanut butter and tomato sandwiches.
I find that peanut butter pairs with lots of fruit to make good sandwiches. my favorite is bananas and apples. My mom makes really good tomato jelly that would probably be really good with peanut butter

We used to have the bread in the burger grease too! It was quite delicious! My aunt used to do it with bacon grease too. 😋

And yes, as Bear said, we did it to stretch the food budget. 5 in our family.
I also had the bread in the burger grease but we also used to eat the hamburger raw before it hit the pan.

still like my meat very rare.

I still drizzle bacon grease over my vegetables

Fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches were Elvis Presley’s favorite snack. Any event or restaurant with an Elvis theme will have them on the menu.

I always liked to eat a little raw meat, which would cause my mother to yell, “Don’t eat that! You’ll get worms!” The raw fat from the chicken was and is the best.

I love rare steak, but like my burgers well-cooked. Warm pink burger meat tastes icky to me for some reason.

I like peanut butter and banana sandwiches, I’m not sure I would eat them fried.

Did he put bacon in them?

I’ve made a variation, peanut butter, banana and then cook them like a grilled cheese.

Also banana and Nutella.

Or Nutella and cherry preserves.

I don’t think Elvis put bacon in them. The frying process does indeed produce something like a grilled cheese.

I’ve had them but because I do not like heated peanut butter, I prefer the cold PB and banana sandwich if I’m going to have that.
Or a fried grilled cheese if I want a fried sandwich.

About half of Taco Bell’s menu I would consider weird food. Same with some of the other ff restaurants that have been brainstorming with their menu. Those giant “burgers” with toppings like onion rings, bacon, egg, bbq sauce, nacho cheese and more all on the same burger turn my stomach.

That’s the typical combo in Wyoming and Colorado! Nuttin weird about it! 😂

As a kid I used to loooove the fatty parts of our christmas ham to the level that I refused the meat and asked for the fatty parts of the others. I also loved dried whole fish bought as pet snacks.

There is an continuous romance between me and raw beef or pork. To the point where I rather eat my beef of pork raw than cooked in any variant. People tend to give me the 😟 look if they see me dig in.

Well, many Jewish foods that I grew up with would be weird to others!
Gribenes is one (fried chicken fat and skins). Jews also use schmaltz (rendered chicken fat) like butter, putting it on bread and eating it…sometimes adding horseradish sauce! Gefilte fish is an acquired taste (cold fish balls).

I love grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches…not a big fan of adding bananas to peanut butter. Cream cheese and jelly sandwiches are wonderful. Also love fried egg sandwiches! I love corned beef hash which no one in my family understands.😂😂😂. Put a fried egg on top…heaven! Finally, raw cookie dough or raw cake batter…yummy!

My son would love Gribebes! 😂

Come on over Patty, I will make us the corned beef hash and eggs! My family does not share my enthusiasm for it, so I order it when we are out if available.

I do like eggs Benedict on a crab cake instead of ham sometimes and I know that is probably weird to some people. But I don’t care! It’s delicious!! Every time my friend and I went to this one little diner in PA we would order it. Two days in a row? Yup. Soooo good!

Oops, spell check error…it’s gribenes! And they are delicious even if they are a heart attack waiting to happen!

Oh! Someone else that loves corned beef hash! We definitely have to go somewhere that serves it…:musical_note:Heaven…I’m in Heaven 🎵

Has you ever had it with ketchup?

Man, this making me hungry now…
