Having afternoon tea of malt drink and some mince meat rissoles…reading this thread made me feel very hungry! 😃:coffee:
 
For our dinner tonight I pan-fried some small medallions of filets of beef that my MIL had sent us in a gift box of steak burgers and medallions of filets of beef.

They were good. 🙂

I marinated them in some Worcestershire sauce with some steak seasoning before frying them, and then I served them with some cheesy mashed potatoes, and some yellow sweet corn.

I was drinking some diet ginger-ale, and some cold bottled spring water.

I had some chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

FAYGO?? Really? Are you in Michigan? That’s the only place I ever saw that. Too sweet for my family’s taste.

Faygo is sold here in Canada, but it’s hard to find. My local convenience store has some, so I bought 4 litres of it. 😁
 
Vegetarian taco salad, sopapilla and a Dr Pepper. Had electrical work done in the house. Was too tired to cook after that.
 
Coffee and some rice and quinoa crackers.Trying not to eat windfall apples from the tree as they are soo sweet,and I don’t stop at one 😅
 
Went to St. Francis de Sales Fish Fry. Had the baked fish, coleslaw, green beans, a roll, and iced tea. They also offer a choice of mac & cheese or fries, but unlike last week, I declined. Last week I had the mac & cheese, and I think that may have been a contributor to my weight gain this past week. Or at least gotten me off on the wrong foot. (My Weight Watchers weigh-in is on Thursdays.)
 
Baked fish sounds tasty,and healthier 🙂
Well, I had baked fish both weeks, but the mac & cheese last week pushed me into the danger zone. I probably compounded it last Saturday by going to Apple Annie’s, a local family restaurant, and having the cabbage rolls & mashed potatoes (& devouring it in one sitting … oops). Next time I go to Apple Annie’s, I’m getting a to-go box and taking half of my meal home.

My metabolism is slowing down and I need to reassess what I’m eating,try and fill up with healthier foods (which I’m finding really hard!!)
 
We were out shopping earlier this evening so I had a really great healthy dinner…
Bag of jelly beans, a Reese’s peanut butter egg, and a diet Dr. Pepper.
 
The last thing that I had to eat was a bowl of organic oatmeal with flax seeds in it.

I added in some raisins and sprinkled some cinnamon in it for some extra flavor. 🙂
 
Now that’s my kind of pizza. Sis makes a great 18 incher. The last one she made weighed in just over 8 pounds cooked weight.

I’ve been drinking diet ginger-ale.

I had some sugar-free orange Jello for dessert. 🙂
 
Because it’s St Patrick’s Day, I had a pastrami sandwich, a bag of Harvest Cheddar chips and a Coca-Cola.

Mama had a bottle of Boost. Hasn’t felt well since before lunch.
