Date night…hit our favorite Mexican restaurant again…
Chips and salsa/ pico de gallo, beef and chicken enchiladas with chipotle sauce, rice, charro beans, and a tall Dos Equis Ambar.
 
For our dinner tonight I made beef hotdogs and served cold deli salads to go with them. We had some cold macaroni salad, some German potato salad and some cold rotini garden salad.

We had some vanilla cake for dessert.

I’ve been drinking cold bottled water.
 
A slice of smokey cheese with peppers, some green olives spiced with hot pepper and garlic, and a 3 bean salad.
 
Had some eggs to see if they’d go down. They did. But I wouldn’t want them every day.

Also had cranberry juice and water along with a Caspar Baby in my lap who has become very spoiled very quickly.
 
Went to Panera again for their tuna sandwich 🥪, ate only half, 1 packet crisps, and for a treat, 1 oatmeal raisin cookie, water.
 
Caspar Baby and his sister, Lady Jade came to us when their previous owner, our dear friend and former coworker of my mother’s, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and moved to a care facility in another city where she could get the care she needs.
 
A nice salad, chicken and mashed potatoes with mushroom-onion gravy, a fresh wheat roll, and a good Oktoberfest brew…salted caramel gelato for dessert.
 
Kitty cats. Rescued. Had I known Lady Jade was going to wind up with me, I’d have brought her home the day I got my sweet Apricot.

But I encouraged our friend to get her because she wanted Caspar, who was then 11, to have a little sister. Jade was 2 then and very feisty. She’s still feisty at 8 and Caspar is now 16.
