Your meal sounds really good.

I’m so sorry to hear about the Pepto-Bismol, though. 😦

I hope that you’ll be feeling better soon!

Thanks, I’m recovering from a stomach flu and anything I eat hasn’t been sitting well. 😥

Ohh, I am so very sorry to hear this!

I do understand, as my husband and I just went through this ourselves at the beginning of February.

I was hit kind of hard, because I already have chronic GI issues that I have to deal with, so it just made everything worse.

I hadn’t been ill like that in a long time. That was one really nasty virus.

Please take care of yourself, and please make sure that you try and stay hydrated, as these viruses can make us dehydrated.

I pray that you feel better soon, too. 🙂

God bless you!

That sounds delicious Elizabeth! I love most things seafood, and just don’t get enough. It always seems so expensive here or hard to find.
There was a really nice whitefish…crab flavoured
ready to eat product I ,oh …I can actually imagine eating it now…I’m going to have to buy some ha ha…
Anyway it was a product of Japan and very light. tasty and healthy.I wonder what time that supermarket shuts…😍

Completely different. Taffy is extremely chewy, almost gummy.

Okay thanks.
I do like a hard Licorice toffee we have here, but it’s not so great for tooth fillings .

Depending on the taffy, it’s not good for dental work either as it can stick to stuff.

The brand I bought is smooth and almost melts in your mouth. Some saltwater taffy, although delicious, is a lot tougher.

I generally don’t eat very much in the way of candy,I’m not very good at just having a couple at a time so I tend not to buy it.Im still searching for the perfect candy(Lolly ) I do like boiled lollies that last a long time(custard and Rhubard my favorite!)
Have you tried many ethnic sweets? I find the Dutch Licorice just a bit too powerful for my taste 😜

Finland is suppose to have some pretty intense salty black licorice, but I’ve never tried it. It sounds like a delicious combination.

Twizzlers are the most generic brand of licorice you can find here, but it stinks. Good N’ Plenty is way better.

Yeah, I’m kind of realizing that after I ordered a big bag of the stuff, lol.

😅 when we were kids my family would keep our sweet things for Easter…my birthday fell in Lent so
what I didn’t finish on the day was saved up.
I had Licorice lollies in Denmark, they really packed a punch! Some tasted like pure ammonia.Probably similar to the Finnish Licorice 🤔
There’s Licorice Bullets in Aldis…coated in chocolate…😍
Maybe I could buy a bag to put away for Easter ,and just allow myself to gaze at the unopened bag…

I just had some buttery crackers–Ritz type crackers–with some Gruyere cheese, and some Diet 7 Up to drink.
