If my dizziness increases, I’ll have something to tide me over, Milt. Either that or I’ll fall face first onto the floor. 😄 (That’s never happened.)
Definitely eat something, ConstantLearner Peanut butter crackers, some cheese, a small container of yogurt or a hard boiled egg - all would help bring that blood sugar up. You don’t want it spiraling.

I would love some onion rings, but not the ones at Burger King. Something more like this:

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)🤤

I had sushi with wasabi & soy sauce. Stuffed Greek grapeleaves with cucumber tzatziki sauce. And a glass of blueberry juice.

A glass of Guinness 😃
I love Guinness. I remember shopping one St Paddy’s Day and had just put 2 cases of Guinness in the cart. Several nuns from our parish were in the next aisle. And I prayed they wouldn’t see the Guinness in my cart. They’d known me since childhood. I didn’t want to burst any bubbles.😊😊😊

I wish I’d thought of that. I was so shocked seeing them there. I’d have died if our priest had been there. And he was Irish!

Had a breakfast sandwich (turkey sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin) and the rest of my Coca-Cola.

Awww. Don’t worry. I plan to be around for a few more years anyway. After all, my fur babies and rooster need me.😃
I’m glad to read that! Glad you balance the junk food with salads, etc. I’ve been on liquids after I had food poisoning and was hospitalized, but then, food poisoning sort of takes away the urge to eat!

I got a green tea frappuccino today in honor of St. Patrick, but I’ve only had half and already feel sick. Food and I don’t have the best relationship. 😦

Oatmeal and two cups of coffee. And my antibiotic because I’m trying to shake this bronchitis.

ConstantLearner, I hope you feel better soon. :pray:t2:

A muffin and coffee. I can’t even remember what I ate yesterday, other than a protein bar and a Dr. Pepper at some point.

Edit: oh, never mind, half of a small vegetarian pizza is what I had.

Japanese cake thing filled with chestnuts and sweet bean paste 🌰 + milk :milk_glass:

We usually have corned beef and cabbage for St Paddy’s Day. But the store didn’t have any corned beef or cabbage when I was there yesterday. (The house smells so good when I make them.)

So instead, we’re having pastrami sandwiches and chili. (You can guess which of us is having the chili.) I’m having a pickle spear and seltzer water with my sandwiches. Mama is having her MiO flavored water with her sandwiches and chili.

Thank you, Pup. That food poisoning was some time ago.

It’s good to find another oatmeal-for-breakfast person here! I have it almost every day with berries and flax seeds. And 12-grain toast, a small glass of orange juice, and green tea (not a frappuccino!)!

Welcome to the thread for people who really relish what they eat and drink! 🙂

No tomatoes for you, young lady! 😠 No chili! Did you get it at Wendy’s or make it?

We want our Lily well and gilded with gold. (Is everything that’s gilded golden? Now I’m not sure! 😱 )

GAAHHH! (That’s a shriek of excitement!) I love those things!! I used to get those in Korea, or at least something similar. The Japanese ones were shaped like fish; the Korean variety was shaped like a chestnut. The cake part tasted like waffles with chips of chestnut in the batter and then the bean paste inside just perfected it.

I miss them and am on a search to find them here in the Pacific NW, which in the greater Seattle area shouldn’t be a problem. With the nicer weather well on its way I expect to get more serious in my quest!
