I put sweetened condensed milk on it. Sooo gooood. Having to whittle down the contents of the freezer again. Too full and threatening to ice over. So my ice cream, which was being saved for after my surgery, is being eaten now. By the time I return from the hospital, things should’ve been whittled enough that I can get two more cartons.
Not sure what I’m eating today. Ice cream, yes. But don’t know whether to join Mama in a fish breakfast or not. We’re both tired of fish now and will be tired of hamburger stew in a few days. We’re eating on the batch that wouldn’t fit in the freezer.
Home made rissoles, mixed vegetables and butter and a cup of coffee.
(Rissoles-beef mince(ground) diced onion, grated carrot, potato some zucchini ,an egg, salt ,pepper and dried herbs and I added some tomato paste this time.Sometimes I add a stock cube.Mix ,coat in plain flour and lightly fry.)
For dinner I made baked breaded fish filets, green peas, seasoned rice pilaf, and small green salads with Sweet Honey Catalina salad dressing. I had some Diet
Caffeine-Free Coke to drink.
Last night, I had a large Philly Cheesesteak submarine sandwich. (I wanted one last week but didn’t give in to the crave.) Drank green tea with ginseng and honey.
This morning, I had a Vanilla Bean protein shake. Mama had her boiled egg and water.
Last night, Barb made kielbasa and sauerkraut, with German potato salad…washed down with cold well water…[the meal screamed for a good lager…I’ll be glad when Lent is over…]…homemade ginger snaps for dessert…
