Thank you so much, Autumn-Smoke. Pray for my dear Mama too. I’m more concerned for her than I am myself. (I’m in God’s Hands.) Her arm is still healing from last year’s fall. And my upcoming surgery isn’t going to be easy on her. Unlike other surgeries, this will require an overnight stay. She’ll have to stay with me because I’m her caregiver. I can’t leave her by herself.

The friend who is driving us to and from the hospital can’t stay the day of my surgery. We’re hoping another of our friends can come and be with her while I’m in surgery and help reinforce the arrangements I need made for her (bed, food trays).

Gee, I’m envious. The one time I go into the hospital, she gets to eat the food and all I get are liquids after surgery. Ironic, isn’t it?😊

The way the phones are, no. She’ll be in a wheelchair and will need to be pushed to the phone. I’m going to tell her to sit as close to the desk as possible so she can be there to pick up the phone. But with all the people coming through that area, they may not allow it. (I’ve been to this hospital before altho not as a patient.)

I plan to have my cell phone with me. (It’ll be in my purse.) But she doesn’t even have the strength in her hands to turn that on even tho it’s a touch screen. Her phone calls are always a two person event with me doing the actual dialing and her doing the talking (via speaker).

That’s too bad, Lily. I hate to think of her worrying! It’s horrible waiting.

You two will be in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️

LOL Lily will have to confirm, but I think it’s a green veggie drink. Don’t think Lily is drinking salad dressing! 🤣 I think you’re thinking of Green Goddess.

Bolthouse Farms does make salad dressing (w yogurt). But what I am having are their juices (veggie and fruit) and smoothies, I’ll probably have a number of them after my surgery since I’ll be solely on liquids for 4 weeks,
 
Last evening I had a turkey, tomato, onion, lettuce, wrap with water.
This morning I am now nursing a cup of black coffee, and once by brain turns on I will decide what I want for breakfast.
 
I just had some Rasberries and am cooking a late dinner of mixed vegetables,a roast potato and fish.Went to mass tonight for Holy Thursday ,so am having a late dinner 🙂

Lucky. Coffee’s on my no-no list for awhile. Still having my green juice. Not sure what I’ll have for breakfast. Maybe fish. Maybe a cheese quesadilla.
 
A bowl of blueberry and flax seed oatmeal, with some cold bottled water to drink.

Hey, Lily does guzzle Ranch Dressing. 🤣😆 (I blame Hidden Valley for making it sooo darn good!)
 
Ranch dressing great, even on corn on the cob. I like Thousand Island as well (not on corn)
 
For dinner last night I made roasted hot dogs with country-style french fries. I had some cold bottled water to drink.
