Bratwurst, broccoli slaw, ice cream sandwich, ice water

Needed the ice water, whew It is hot today!
 
It was a scorcher here…we had a huge salad, some cheese, and rye rolls…cold well water…a Klondike bar for dessert.
 
Leftover cheese pizza from Dominos and a banana. I know, weird combination.

Scrambled eggs with coffee. It was thrilling.

I’m having grilled chicken and vegetables for lunch. Also thrilling. :roll_eyes:

Spicy Cauliflower Sabzi With Cashews

This would make an excellent and filling vegetarian main course (add a dollop of yogurt and some cooked rice, if you like).

This is fun:
Cauliflower, cashews, fennel, coconut oil, mustard seed, scallions, yams, 2 serrano peppers, spices & cilantro.

I mixed up a tzatziki sauce with salted Greek yogurt for dipping.
 
I had my version of Wendy’s Berry Burst Chicken salad. I didn’t add the chicken. Too hot to cook.
 
Just had a glass of rather cloudy iced tea, and half of a chocolate chip cookie.

Learned through a search what made my iced tea cloudy. Apparently, if you make iced tea by brewing hot tea first, and don’t let it cool to room temperature before refrigerating it, the oils in the tea will make it cloudy. But it’s still safe to drink.
 
You’re lucky. We had an invasion of rats in the garage. Last night trapped 7 of em. More traps set.

Getting ready to prepare a nice batch of Rat Stew.
 
No, but I had a kitten who was an exceptionally good mouser and ratter. She would kill rats that outweighed her. She was worth her weight in gold.

Had for lunch spring rolls, brown rice, cookie, string cheese, diet pepsi
