Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter
Satan’s Cheerleaders
A friend of mine forced me to watch this, when they actually gifted the bluray to me. Up to that point I had only heard of it (through the same friend) and I was already disinterested in it and I made my disinterest known. I hated watching every second of it. Technically the bluray is still sitting on my shelf, but now that it occurs to me that it’s there I think it’s high time it got “lost in the move”.

I think ANY Al Adamson movie should be included on our thread list. Anyone ever read about Al? He’s like another Ed Wood to be sure!
Speaking of Ed Wood replacements, Uwe Boll is regularly touted as the contemporary Ed Wood. It’s truly baffling how prolific he is.

I’m still so BUMMED that nobody has seen or can comment on “Lazerblast.” That thing is hysterically bad!!

Anything with Adam Sandler
I thought “Anger Management” was pretty funny - but yeah, in general, his movies are trash. Will Farrell is another one that I don’t normally go out of my way for - anything I’ve seen him in was just embarrassing.

Dittoes. And you’re right about Will Farrell. Another guy I LOVED on SNL and hated as a movie guy. That SNL to movie actor isn’t always a good transition, is it? 😛

The Final Cut. I watched it because it has Jim Caviezel in it and it was seriously one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It doesn’t even make sense and nothing is really ever explained. The only reason why I finished the entire movie is because I was going through a Jim Caviezel movie watching phase, trying to watch all of his movies and I made myself finish it. It was in a way partially interesting because of what was going on, but the movie was really stupid. Also Caviezel was barely in the movie, so it was a waste of time!

The title of the movie says it all: Final Cut.

The actors just show up on time and do their lines. If the director and editor are high on something and the final product is cut up so badly that there is no longer a story … well, it sort of explains why some actors have set up their own production companies.

I know that this thread was intended to be fun and silly, but sometimes ya just gotta wonder what the heck is going on with some of the 00’s out there.

I have to admit most of Adam Sandler’s movies are stupid, but I still laugh till I cry when he gets his butt kicked by Bob Barker in Happy Gilmore. 😃

I think if you gathered a bunch of professional movie critics together one film that would consistently show up on their lists is the original “Casino Royale” from 1966 starring David Niven, Peter Sellers, Orson Wells, Woody Allen, et al. Sellers and Wells couldn’t stand each other, the movie kept changing directors and it was generally considered a first-rate turkey. But I kind of like it, especially the early scenes with Deborah Kerr as a would-be Scottish laird’s widow.

Anything that offends God. (Depicts God in a bad light or makes fun of).
Braveheart.
Matrix.
Musicals.
Vietnam war films.

How does Braveheart make fun of God? I like Vietnam movies. My dad fought in Nam.

That movie did stink royally (hey, like my pun! :D)

I miss those comedies from back in the day that had super duper all-star casts. My dad loves that movie “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.” That thing had everyone under the sun in it. When I was a kid I used to LOVE “Cannonball Run” with Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLuis. That had a zillion great actors in it. It was goofy but fun…
Great cast, though.

Are you kidding? I love musicals. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is hilarious. The brothers are a bunch of lonely mountain men who end up kidnapping their brides. There’s this fantastic scene where they all sing together while chopping wood, etc (one brother continuously swings an ax over his head). It is so bizarrely awesome.

“It’s a Mad, Mad … World” is great. The only recent movie with a big, super-familiar cast that I can think of is “Love, Actually” which come to think of it could be a candidate for worst movie ever (from what I’ve heard).

Like I said, when I was a kid, Cannonball Run did it for me. I loved Hot Wheels, race cars, and seeing that crazy race and all the silly tricks they’d use to try to win the race (Sammy Davis and Dean Martin dressed as priests) was just hysterical…

I remember when Dean Martin gets out of the Ferrari and Dom Deluis asks him to bless them he does it really reluctantly as if he could care less…then he sees Farrah Faucett in the back of the ambulance…

Dean Martin (seeing Farrah) “Oh I’ve GOT TO bless her!!”

Burt Reynolds: “No you don’t, Father. Don’t bother. She’s a Zen Buddhist.”

Dean: “Oh shoot, that’s ok! Blessing Zen Buddhists is our specialty!” 😃
