I love Tim Burton’s 1994 movie with Johnny Depp playing the title character and Martin Landau playing Bela Lugosi (who deservedly won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role.)
The movie “Ed Wood” (1994), the one directed by Tim Burton, is a labor of love about a dramatic re-creation of Ed Wood (played by Johnny Depp) who showed charity and kindness toward the dramatic re-creation of Bela Lugosi (played by Martin Landau) at a time when he was down and out and forgotten about by Hollywood. The 1994 movie by Tim Burton espouses morally redeeming values like compassion and forgiveness. Did Ed Wood (played by Johnny Depp) look at Bela Lugosi and say, “I don’t want to help that guy who’s hurting…!” No. He rolled up his sleeves and helped the guy, gave him his every last nickel. How often do you see
that in a movie?
Tim Burton’s movie “Ed Wood” (1994) also gives justice to Vampira (played by Lisa Marie), whose image and likeness was essentially hijacked in the 1980’s by the far-sleazier and racier Elvira, Mistress of The Dark. Vampira (nee Maila Nurmi) died about a year ago. She was awesome. It was so sad to see her go. She never got her due. There was a movie about the real-life Vampira that might help explain why some of us liked Tim Burton’s 1994 movie on the subject:

So, to clear up any confusion: the real Ed Wood. Woof! Bad movies. :nope:
The 1994 Tim Burton movie with Johnny Depp playing him. Loved it. :dancing:
And “Rocky Horror”…good in a theater (but not on video)
