Adultery and fornication are absolutely part of the culture of death. The end result is often an innocent who is deemed “inconvenient”.
I personally oppose infanticide, but I would never want to impose my strict moral views on someone who doesn’t share them and kill their newborn child. Wow…this is great. It works with slavery, euthanasia, and all sorts of difficult moral questions too It’s a great all purpose outIt is different. And adultery and fornication are different. But what has that to do with the issue of “support”?
I was “inconvenient”, but my parents did the right thing by getting married and having me.Adultery and fornication are absolutely part of the culture of death. The end result is often an innocent who is deemed “inconvenient”.
I had been talking about abortion.infanticide,
Some do, some don’t. is that the line, or is conception?abortion stops a beating heart
and maybe by showing them the science…it’s by showing Christian love and charity that you win their hearts and minds to the evil that is abortion
I don’t think there is much, if any, disagreement on the science.and maybe by showing them the science…
Ahh, I dont think that there is disagreement on the science. As to what a given individual knows, that is a different matter.Really?
Maybe in an ideal world you could “make” both parties see an ultrasound of the tiny human they created. But we are talking about the United States of the Perpetually Offended. The reality would would be lawsuits flying all over the place.“Exactly…any woman wanting an abortion should have to take an ultrasound showing the tiny human being growing inside her…make it a priority to educate not so much about the option of abortion…but about other options that are available to help women avoid making that terrible choice…much better than pointing the finger at them and calling them murderers…oh…and make the spouse…boyfriend…or whoever…see the ultrasound as well…”
One could. One could also make the argument that people who think that the state should ot have laws against adultery, and/or vote for people who have that view, of act on that view as a legislator are complicit in adultery. One could argue that they are complicit in the murder of human beings.
Indeed. In Roman Catholic moral thinking, however, the argument would not be limited to the category of “complicit” but further consider formal/material and remote/proximate cooperation in sin.
What reminds you? And what exactly are you suggesting by reference to Cain and Abel?It reminds me
I tend to think even many Trump supporters know why but won’t post or say it. He promised on numerous occasions before the election that he would release his tax returns but clearly lied about that-- and about a lot of other things as well, needless to say.All of the past presidents had no problem releasing their taxes as a public political figure. He had the audacity to question President Obama’s birth certificate and Obama gladly released it. Why can’t Trump release his questionable tax returns?
Yes … performing an abortion could have no other goal.Do you think that people have a goal of murdering unborn human beings?
No, he was impeached for lying under oath.MagdalenaRita:![]()
I disagree. Not even President Clinton could escape the bombardment of media. He was even impeached for his sexual misconduct. Liberal men, even of no political power cannot escape the scrutiny and are chewed by the media, also. Harvey Weinstein, Les Moonves, Matt Lauer, O.J. Simpson, Michael Jackson, Bill Cosby… It’s amazing that Trump is able to escape his past sexual sins. Just saying…I could pretty much bet that if President Trump was pro-abortion, you would never hear about any of these things from the leftist media.
Yes this has already been discussed. But the people implicating when far beyond those performing or procuring an abortion. What about the others?performing an abortion
