Well that’s good to know! However, maybe there is a Government buff out there that can still post some things that way EVERYONE on the board can be clear on how things become a law.

Another thing, even if such a law were passed (which ain’t gonna happen) how would this affect the rest of the world? For this to be the true Mark of the Beast, it would have to be in affect worldwide. Again, not gonna happen.

Good point; USA laws only affect USA citizens and those living in the USA.

It just occured to me, maybe goitalone thinks the UN is going to pass such a law. Again, what is the resolution number? And if the UN did pass such a law, I’m sure the Jews and Arabs would have something to say about it.

Maybe… Maybe that’s why goitalone has been ignoring the bill questions. So goitalone what is the UN resolution number? When is the UN going to do this? Who in the UN wants to do this?

Please help this SAHM learn how things become a law here in the USA!

Perhaps the Supreme Court would decide to make it a law in this case? That could happen with any appropriate case (or not) that it elects to hear. Perhaps the process could be facilitated by getting more Catholics on the bench.

Also, a place like France would only make a Sunday Law over its own dead body. It would require someone to conquer them first. Their leaning is secular in a way that ours is not. However, if an appropriate person arose with outrageous power and charisma, who knows what would happen worldwide?

Honestly, it would seem more plausible to me that instead of requiring some type of Christian worship on Sunday, that worship of Caesar or Emperor would be required on Sunday. Maybe it wouldn’t be called worship, but it could be some token gesture of respect or subservience, indicating your acceptability and your denial of belief in the Living God (or perhaps the denial will be that he is One).

As for when it is going to happen, no one knows for sure…the angels are holding back the four winds of strife right now I am certain, until the gospel is finished going out to all nations.

A Muslim friend whose husband is Turkish said that Turkey has such a law forbidding holidays from work or school on Friday, the Muslim Holy Day. Instead Sundays are the holydays. Although, the government is also no friend of Christians, it wanted to make it difficult for devout Muslims, too.

Where in the Bible (since that’s all you believe) are the words Sabbath or Seventh translated as Saturday?
PPSSSTT - it’s not.
So how do you translate the word Sabbath as Saturday? You can’t.
How do you translate the word Seventh as Saturday? You can’t.
How do you translate the word Saturday (NOT in the Bible) as first day of the week? You can’t.

Jesus lived sinlessly…a perfect sinless life for to take upon Himself all the sin of mankind…He defeated sin!

Therefore, he had to have kept ALL the commandments.

That right there is Jesus telling us to keep the seventh day Sababth.
