Not at 5 years old. I don’t plan on my children ever reading G&L books by God’s grace I pray and by HIs grace… I never had to until I went to the children’s section of the public library at the age of 36. Lord have mercy on your reasoning skills. With your reasoning why stop there…why not have children’s books with cuss words? Just because they might be exposed to cuss words one day does not mean they should start reading cuss words today. God have mercy. God have mercy. God have mercy. In Jesus name I pray, amen. You can’t shelter your kid forever, especially in today’s world of instant information. You will have to let go of your kids some day and hope you have taught them well Part of that is learning to process and deal with the world. I wouldn’t tell you to go looking for some of the topics you’d like to avoid at the library; but I’d suggest the pace of a library book is much slower than the Internet to have some of the discussions you will inevitably have.
