I am not siding with Jehovah’s Witnesses! What makes you think that?…you seem to side on the side of those who reject Christ…

…sorry for the query…The problem showing them Hebrews 1 is, that they mistranslated verse 8: From “O God” to “God is your throne”, changing also Psalm 45:6 and backing that up with quotes from scholars.
As for Jn 10:30, they go and say “well Jesus said we should be one just like them. That doesn’t mean of one nature, does it? It means purpose!”
I Don’t think they are lost. JWs are dangerously mislead, but can certainly see the light, if it shines at them brightly enough.
No, I’m not a molethe reason I look into their stuff is I have a good friend of mine, who is a JW and is constantly attacking the Church. I want to help him see where they are wrong, plant the seeds for the Holy Spirit to grow, if you wish.
I agree with all you said, my intention here is to have counter-arguments, refutations and better insight into our belief.]
…and:Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (St. Matthew 28:19)
5 Though there are so-called gods, in the heavens or on earth – and there are plenty of gods and plenty of lords-6 yet for us there is only one God, the Father from whom all things come and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things come and through whom we exist. (1 Corinthians 8:5-6)
…while I am not saying that anyone is beyond Salvation… it is clear from Scriptures that if man denies God it is man himself who is the cause of his own demise.4 There are many different gifts, but it is always the same Spirit; 5 there are many different ways of serving, but it is always the same Lord. 6 There are many different forms of activity, but in everybody it is the same God who is at work in them all. (1 Corinthians 12:4-6)
…I think that I’ve been linking your responses to your familiarity with their doctrine… perhaps I read too much into your responses–ie:I am not siding with Jehovah’s Witnesses! What makes you think that?
The tone I got from this is that you may be accepting them at their word or might be putting forth an argument for them (there were some episodes with at least one person pretending to be seeking knowledge but he/she was simply bouncing doctrinal teachings either with or as another person). They say they “restored” the name because the early Christians “took it away”.
Not to worry!…I think that I’ve been linking your responses to your familiarity with their doctrine… perhaps I read too much into your responses–ie:

Perhaps by posting their possition without including your personal understanding had helped me draw the wrong conclusion…

Catholics and Jehovah witnesses alike both believe God is a God of justice therefore Jesus died for our sake for the sins of humanity.Dear community,
Here I go again about the Jehovah’s Witnesses. I have their book “Reasoning from the Scriptures” in German, and they address some arguments for the Deity of Christ in them, especially those concerning Titles of God applied to Christ. I need some refutations on these, as they are getting me quite confused and also as they will come up in discussions with a friend of mine (JW).
For any of you who have the book in digital or print, I’ll be translating the German version, so the wording may be different in the original English.
I know this is a lot of text, but maybe the points can be grouped. I hope somebody can show either their error or explain the Trinitarian position. Thank you in advance.
…the problem is that they made up their own theocracy… where not God but their leaders determine Who God Is and How His Revelations and Salvific Plan take effect… buttom line: Christ is not God and there’s no Holy Trinity–their whole theology then must reflect their obstinate belief!Compare

I wonder how they’re going to wiggle their way out of this one.
…the Apostles acknowledged that Jesus is God and freely confessed with their mouths and with their actions: “My Lord, and my God!”26 Eight days later the disciples were in the house again and Thomas was with them. The doors were closed, but Jesus came in and stood among them. ‘Peace be with you,’ he said. 27 Then he spoke to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here; look, here are my hands. Give me your hand; put it into my side. Do not be unbelieving any more but believe.’ 28 Thomas replied, ‘My Lord and my God!’ 29 Jesus said to him: You believe because you can see me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe. (St. John 20:26-29)
16 Meanwhile the eleven disciples set out for Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had arranged to meet them. 17 When they saw him they fell down before him, though some hesitated. (St. Matthew 28:16-17)
Sorry I meant to write “insufficent” in that sentence not sufficent. If Jesus were St Michael the archangel that would mean he would be a created finite being. The finite sacrifice he offered up would have been sufficient because God the infinite being requires infinite reparation for our sins.
