How can they even do that? Nowhere in any Greek manuscript does it say “Jehovah”. Even in the Septuagint it is nowhere to be found.
Btw: do they worship Christ like the Arians did?
They say, and cite, this: “The early Christians removed it from the manuscripts. Matthew’s Gospel for example was written in Hebrew, quoting from the Hebrew Scriptures.” (They call the OT Hebrew Scriptures as they say “Testament” is wrong.)
The Watchtower continues to say that manuscripts of the Septuagint use the Tetragrammaton. They add “Jehovah” in almost all quotes in the NT from the OT.
No, they don’t worship Christ. (They translate “worship” as “do obeisance to”)
Here are some quotes from the New World Translation.
Luke 4:17-19 "So the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed him, and he opened the scroll and found the place where it was written: 18 “Jehovah’s spirit is upon me, because he anointed me to declare good news to the poor, he sent me forth to preach a release to the captives and a recovery of sight to the blind, to send the crushed ones away with a release, 19 to preach Jehovah’s acceptable year.”
Luke 4:12-13 “In answer Jesus said to him: “It is said, ‘You must not put Jehovah your God to the test.’” 13 So the Devil, having concluded all the temptation, retired from him until another convenient time.”
Matthew 2:1-2 “After Jesus had been born in Beth´le·hem of Ju·de´a in the days of Herod the king, look! astrologers from eastern parts came to Jerusalem, 2 saying: ‘Where is the one born king of the Jews? For we saw his star [when we were] in the east, and we have come to do him obeisance.’”
John 1:23 “He said: “I am a voice of someone crying out in the wilderness, ‘MAKE the way of Jehovah straight,’ just as Isaiah the prophet said.””
These are some examples, all together they add “Jehovah” 237 times. Here’s a list of some other occurrences, but there are SO much more.

In “Reasoning from the Scriptures” they state: “Jesus Christ emphasised the name of his Father, which indicates he used the name often (Mt 6:9; Jn 17:6, 26). Jerome from the 4th century CE said that the Apostle Matthew wrote his Gospel in Hebrew first, and in this Gospel we find many quotations from the Hebrew Scriptures that include the divine name.”
It continues to say: "Other writers of the Christian Greek Scriptures quoted from the Septuagint (280 BCE) and in old copies of the Septuagint the divine name occurs in Hebrew letters, as preserved fragments show.
“Professor George Howard of the University of Georgia wrote: „As the Tetragrammaton was still written in the copies of the Greek Bible, that made up the Scriptures of the ancient church, it is reasonable to suppose that the NT authors retained the Tetragrammaton in the biblical text, when they quotes from these writings.” (Journal of Biblical Literature, March 1977, p. 77).
This should suffice for the moment.
