NEEDED: Prayer Warriors!

After weeks of prayerful discernment and speaking with my Pastor, I have decided to leave CAF. I just find the climate to be too negative and unnecessarily argumentative.

I find that if I post something to be genuinely helpful and charitable, someone else is all too ready to nitpick and try to find something wrong where nothing IS wrong. I had this experience this week and it was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I was reminded of the New Testament admonition to avoid petty arguments and useless quarreling.

I find that if I complain about this or something else like being ignored when I requested to be a prayer warrior, someone else will come along and say I’m too sensitive.Sometimes I wonder if the more seasoned regular posters aren’t sensitive enough.

I’m at a point where I don’t think words can adequately describe how I feel.

I honestly hope that CAF can improve the climate and become more positive and enriching and hopefully avoid other people being hurt as I have.

My dear sister in Christ, you may have made your final decision to leave the forums but I would love to suggest one thing. You can always try to offer up such disappointments to God, such small sacrifices make a great deal of crowns of roses for Christ our Spouse and Teacher. My self have been a member of the forums for more than four years but when I enrolled for Seminary training three years ago I had to give up the good time I had with members. This did not make me forget Catholic Answers or love them less. U may say that it was a personal decision but in life we shall not always find what we want. what matters is to find the will of God even in the seeming negative situations. I will be glad to see u persevere. Some of the these title do not matter, the reality is at heart. May God’s Spirit continue to go before you guide and light your way.
 
Today was the feast of St. Rita -Patron of impossible cases. In an ongoing apparitions at Ohio, she gave a message stressing the importance of accepting God’s will. Here is the Msg;-
St. Rita of Cascia says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“In order to be true instruments of God, you must be instruments of God’s Divine Will. God’s Will is that you seek continually the Refuge of the United Hearts. This Holy Refuge is accessible only through a movement of your free will. Indeed, your will to enter the Refuge of the United Hearts is the knock on the ‘door’ of Mary’s Immaculate Heart, Refuge of Holy Love.”

“Through this act of your free will, you cooperate with the Divine Will of God and become God’s instruments - His Will in the world.”

How do we know when/if we are approved? :confused:

It can take WEEKS for them to process the request and show “Prayer Warriors” under your name. I imagine they have few people looking at the requests, with other things to do too.

You can still post & pray!

I just read post #272 which gave me all the info I was lacking (I kind of wish that was closer to the instructions on how to sign up 🤷 )

I have been adding my prayers to many threads, the need is just so great.

I just didn’t know if there was a message or what, and now I know (reading is fundamental!;))

So, I’ll be praying away. Thanks again for the feedback.

And for all those who’ve posted intentions here, I’ll be happy to pray for them too. 🙂

Hey hey hey all my name is meya:D I am super new to this not even sure if I’m posting this in the right place lol. But I wanted to ask for help I am a 26 yr old female from ga and I been looking for work for going on a yr and a half now. i have been working at temp jobs but you alll y’all who ever worked at a temp job before, they call you one day to work than you don’t hear from them until weeks later and the pay is not even enough to full up your car. But anyways I been looking for work as a cooking. I only have worked in a kitchen for a yr but in that short time I went from prep cook to lead cook. That is what I love to do I live for it. I have never and I mean never went this long without a job. It seen like when I started getting into my bible more and getting to know god more things got super hard for me:(. I have went on interviews and everyone there loved me but no one ever calls me back:shrug:. Its really broking me down to the ground becuz I really want to work. So if anyone knows of a good website I may be able to apply for work I would love to hear it. Also if its not to much maybe y’all could pray for me a little bit thank you so much for listening. It’s great to see so many prayer intentions and prayers here. But you might want to know about another option - posting your OWN prayer intention thread in the Prayer Intentions forum. That is useful because it gets many users to pray in particular for your intention. Your post is not lost on just one thread. Plus you get to name your intention as you like.

Here are the steps you need to take to become a Prayer Warrior

Go to your Profile > Group Memberships > Prayer Warrior > Join Group

I’ll approve your request, then voila! You are a CAF Prayer Warrior!
Now wasn’t that easy? 😃

ok i just joined and i can not find how start a form so i am posting here. i was told last night by a friend that his girlfriend also a friend and cowoeker of mine was planing to have an abortion this past week she is in another country and we are in central america i dont know if she went through wth it but i pray she changed her mid if not pray for healing andfor the baby
