I don’t doubt the accuracy of the book but I won’t read it because it will be so disturbing.
I think anyone’s life under such a microscope can be a disturbing read. Kennedy was also inspiring until people learned of his warts. Even MLK had his problems.

This will be a humdinger. And he recorded many of these interviews.

I don’t mean about his personal life. I mean his administration.

Not many people live to be 106, or 100, or even 90. Considering that Ginsburg has been treated for colon cancer, pancreatic cancer, and cardiac issues, placing your hopes on her living another 20 years is a bit of a longshot.
I find this endless dwelling on Justice Ginsberg’s health and impending demise (some of it, although not yours, quite gleeful) to be in poor taste, to say the least.

See!?!?!?!? He has a higher calling than the rest of us!!! He doesn’t do this for money (or a place in Georgetown AND a summer home in Annapolis (with a pool and guest house)).
Funny. Donald Trump makes zillions of bucks (and inherits a bunch, too) and it proves that he’s a genius.

Bob Woodward makes a bunch (although much, much less) writing books and it proves that he’s nothing but a gossip columnist who’s only in it for the money.

His admin has a good record of keeping their promises.

Sounds like you think of his personal attributes, which I do equate to his personal life.

No one is sitting around wringing their hands and fretting “Oh my goodness! Bob Woodward didn’t write a book that favored Trump!”
LOL…this is exactly what is going on, and it is extremely entertaining!

Yeah…LOL…like his number one promise of building a wall and Mexico paying for it…so far the small amount funded came our of the pockets of you and I.

Ludicrous, You could say his number one promise was to control illegal immigration.

Building out the border wall is just one piece of it, and it’s being extended as we speak. He’s already earned partial credit on that promise. Passing grade won’t require Mexico funding the extensions, at least not with his prior supporters.

I don’t doubt its accuracy either. According to an article in the Washington Post, White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly told colleagues that he thought the president was “unhinged.” I believe that Kelly probably said that. But no one needs Kelly’s word and insider knowledge to know that the President is “unhinged”. It pretty obvious to anyone who reads the newspaper or watches the news every day.

It seems Kelly disagrees with you, but why take the word of a retired Marine Corps general with a distinguished record when you have anonymous sources…

A synopsis of the book -

Say as many bad things about President Trump as you can.

There, just saved you $21.00 - $29.99

Why on God’s green earth would someone even care about a journalist’s income or their house?

Bob Woodward is one of the most respected investigative journalists living today.

I don’t much doubt Mattis is correct. But 448 pages of fiction without a single love scene in it will be a hard read for most.

And while $5 million might seem like a fortune to most, it’s not much as “rich people” go. I remember being at a seminar with a CPA friend. During one particularly boring presentation, we decided to play a game. Without disclosing names, we would each see how many local millionaires we knew for sure were millionaires. I stopped counting at 25. He stopped at about the same number. Probably there was some overlap, but still, that’s a lot of millionaires.

I really am amazed that Woodward hasn’t done any better than that.

Maybe he isn’t in it just for the money as some people seem to imply.
