Robert, my friend, my sincere apology as it was indeed Elts 1956 and not you. You may have replied to my reply to Elts. I’d have to go back. But I have had so many people quote me Fr Corapi on this matter that I sometimes lose track of exactly who quoted him last. :o I’m not certain if others are playing a game or not by misrepresenting the Church definition of Catholic. But I’m not. I’m only correcting those who say so and so or such and such a person is not Catholic when they are. God bless you and peace.

I think it would be said best that you cannot be a faithful Catholic and be pro-choice.
 
You of little Confidence? I’ve done some bad things in my 78 years on EARTH, BUT have Paid back my pound of Flesh through Penance,good deeds,and much Prayer for Guidence… ? My really great deed is my affiliation in building ,onthe waterfront of Buffalo,ny A 70 story ,700 foot Arch of Triumph to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. its taken 9 years and its almost rady to get built. if you know of a way I could send the group pictures of the Arch ,let me know??,imagine, a Tribute to the Lady of Fatima?? yeah I’m going to Heaven!

You cannot know this for sure. To state it with such certainty is presumption. There is now way to “buy” your way into heaven through good works. They are a necessary component of faith, but we achieve salvation by participating in the salvific work on Calvary, not by doing good deeds. To think you can work your way into heaven is a misunderstanding of the nature of grace.
 
Isn’t it just incredibly sad when someone needs to state the obvious again and again and again in order to get a point across??? :crying:

If only … we can pray out loud over it … all bishops would do the same.

I don’t think that anyone really believes in such a thing. Hope is classically one step at a time, not forgetting that each step may be the last.
