Who would want to open a business in a city with high taxes and leaders who give no support to their brave police?

Call me cynical, but California politicians will not miss a few hundred millionaires as long as the masses continue to vote for them. Sure, the state will be broke, but the politicians will still have their power. Power is such a powerful drug that they will not even notice all the poor people who suffer under their leadership.
 
I dont disagree with you - the citizens of CA urban areas have gotten the government they asked for - sadly the rural parts of the state dont feel the same way … but they wont like the loss of revenue - as they will have to make decisions on where to cut services - it wont make them popular …

And at some point the masses may change their voting pattern . .even poor people can get fed up … causing a power can shift.

Plus we are seeing some [as yet limited] signs that the Marxists wont hesitate to eat their enablers/benefactors on the left …
