Not even close to loosing it. I live in the north east region and he is being the New Yorker that he is. No big deal. NY is doing a great job managing the virus now, with only VT and ME doing better. The reason they are doing better is because they are sparsely populated. So weary of people not knowing what is actually happening here.
He is approval rating is very high when it comes to COVID, still, regardless of his standing in the faith.

I have family in New Tork City and they have been locked up so long I am not sure how they stand it. They really struggle. He may be doing better now but he certainly did a very poor job in the beginning and took no responsibility for it.
Why does the Governor of New York feel the need to go on shock jock Howard Stern’s show and
shoot off his mouth saying that he would have decked Trump.
His decision was responsible for the deaths of a whole lot of elderly citizens in nursing homes. I really couldn’t care less what he thinks of Trump.

Some people are happy but he has kept everyone is lockdown and businesses suffer. Taxpayers are fleeing the city. I just can’t imagine what he was thinking when he felt the need to go on the Howard Stern’s show.
His parents were so nice but he just reminds more and more of a gang/punk persona.

I heard him say that outright on the news. Doesn’t surprise me Cuomo would say something like that. Wasn’t he the one who put all those COVID victims in the nursing homes? Yeah, that’s his mentality, alright! Deck Mr. Trump after the president provided ventilators, hospital ships and whatever else that governor needed during the worst of the pandemic. Mr. Two-Faced. Ever occur to him to say, “Thank you”?

Going into this very dark period of the next couple of months, NY is at a really low rate, which is good.
It’s all about math and science, and Cuomo has done a great job during a time when the federal government has been impotent.
It’s all about the numbers. Do you know what the infection rate was for NYC yesterday? It’s 7 day rolling average? Do you know what the infection rate is like across the country?

Cuomo is much younger than Trump and he is physically fit. He is a body builder. Trump is not physically fit. Not even close.

I’m joking of course. God says we must be peacemakers, therefore we would be required to tell Cuomo and Trump to shake hands and make nice. And they probably would because they might need to run into each other again or work together again. A lot of this trash talk is just for the sake of image. At least when you’re discussing a governor and a President. Now Fre- I mean Chris Cuomo, he might actually throw someone down the stairs.

I will say this, since I do live in this region, and as a devout Catholic. The Lord and the Lord alone will judge Cuomo as He will judge the rest of us. To insinuate that Cuomo purposefully put people into nursing homes so as to kill that is slander. I will let you go thru the 10 Commandments to figure out which one slander and calumny fall under.
Anyone who was paying attention knows that the governors in the north east were up against an impending tsunami against our hospitals back in March, April, May, and we were scared beyond comprehension. Cuomo including. The word “scramble” doesn’t fit.
I’d be the first one to step before the Lord and defend Cuomo’s handling of the situation because I remember what it was like in real time. Not unlike some who are doing the Monday morning quarterbacking.

In NJ it’s a bit of a joke that we are one giant suburb of NYC and Philly so there’s a lot of collaboration between us and the two cities regarding covid response. I can’t speak for the southern half but where I live, NYC’s covid problem very quickly became our covid problem too. In three days we went from “close the schools for two weeks” to “everything nonessential is closed indefinitely, no gatherings, and masks are required” as the numbers shot up.
Last I checked we were in phase 3…but as it gets colder the numbers are going back up so a few social things are starting to roll back as a precaution.

All of America was caught off guard. Cuomo did the best he could with almost zero information. He was taking his cues from the Feds, and we all know now, that the Feds were covering up what they knew.
The Lord is very clear what was going on during that time and will judge Cuomo and all of us accordingly. All judgement, and I mean all, resides in the Lord and the Lord alone when it comes to intent.
We, as Catholics, believe this.

Yes but they are tired of being in this kind of lockdown. It has been ongoing since March . Massachusetts is the same., and people are feeling very shut it.
As you know a lot of New Yorkers left the City and fled to surrounded states. Many are working from home and if they have a residence in another area they left. This brought infections to Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire. I don’t blame them but it angered surrounded states. For awhile Rhode Island ban New York cars. from coming into the state.
Gov. Cuomo did a very, very bad job in the beginning but he has done better. His main response has been to lock people in. The businesses are hurting and financially New York City is a mess. They are way behind in their ability to meet their debt.
And his 3 billion climate change ‘Restore Mother Nature’ Bond Act was a bust, Banning styrofoam, promoting electric cars and my favorite “Retrofitting Homes and Businesses to Lower Carbon Emissions: In 2020, the State will undertake a multi-part initiative to bend the curve on fossil fuel consumption in buildings”.
All the while New Yorkers are in home foreclosure,
