Isca we are missing out! They are great, kinda like crinkle cut chips but thinner and flatter.
 
Hahahaha. My favorite is Burger King. And KFC. Wait, that’s chicken. Whew, I’m up late. lol
 
With the article, there were times I tried hard to look for the satire. To find a way that the author didn’t mean 100% of what he said. Let’s just say it was tough.
 
I was hoping for it…but it just kept going. I think it’s safe to say - sadly - it’s not.
 
Wasn’t it Fuddrucker’s who used to have the burger bar? They weren’t too bad if I’m remembering right.

Anyone else remember Roy Rogers/Gino’s on the East Coast (about a billion years ago, LOL)? That was the best fast food burger around. Their chicken wasn’t bad either. The last one of them I remember was on I-95 in the Maryland House rest areas.

Fuddruckers was great! Probably the best burgers I’ve ever had (Five Guys is close). Roy Rogers used to be all over the place but were eventually sold off by Marriot. We used to go to Gino’s all the time when I was a kid: They sold KFC.

Holy smokes has KFC fallen from grace.

I agree - if I want a burger I usually go to Five Guys. Not cheap by semi-fast food standards, but the fries alone are worth the cost of admission.
 
Yeah I agree! I remember when they were ONE restaurant on Leesburg Pike in Virginia lol.
 
Thanks - those are served hot, I assume? We can get crisps/chips like that in the UK, but I’ve never had chips/fries like that.
 
Yes. They’re analogous to an American French fry - just bigger and in my opinion, better.
 
There’s a whole class of people who are perpetually worried and who perpetually take offense. They’ve raised it to a horrible art form. There’s not a scintilla of heroism in their life.

This thread has messed with my mind. I dreamed last night of Chik-fil-A sandwiches and waffle fries.
 
Now I have a hankering for Five Guys fries lol…Can’t be away from home very long so a trip over to Lakewood ain’t in the works 😛
 
Next, Chick-fil-A needs to start giving out free Bibles with all combo meals at its Manhattan locations.
 
😂 Or kid’ meals in little Arks. Think of all the toys with that.
 
Yes, they are best served hot. Although, Southerners have been known to fight over cold, soggy waffle fries.
