Nice girls move to the end of the line?

The funny thing about this thread and the one that is was off of seems to be that neither the “nice” girls or guys really like the “not nice” girls or guys…sooooo maybe we should all meet up somewhere and have a nice girls and guys party! 😃

Thank you for the support, the irony of the situation is quite comical. I’m glad I’m at a point were I can laugh at it. The things they said were very disturbing. Not only did they attack Catholics but they said awful things about Jews, Latinos, Asians, Indians, Native Americans and every other ethnicity and religion you can think of. (this is my main reason for not dating right now, it really blew my trust level) I’m trying not to dwell on it, trying to let it go.

I really wonder if people who espouse such bigoted beliefs are intentionally ignorant of reality and truth, or are just very stupid and need someone to take out their anger on. 🤷

^ this got me thinking…heres my philosphy on tanning and hair color…

Tanning until you look like a sweet potato is a nono, you will look like you are a jersey shore guido or guidette and such a look is frowned upon by most cultures and individuals me being one of them. 😛

So the rule of thumb is tan at your hearts desire up until the point where you risk looking like a food or another species.

and with hair color, I don’t see how my fellow men can have a preference, and heck I love unnatural (dyed) hair colors as well, people think im bonkers cuz of that lol.

oh and eye color um, im a sucker for blue eyes :rolleyes:

Id be lying if i said i didn’t notice how people dress, not that it really matters, but how people dress can give a glimpse of what kind of person they might be. and i just cant stand certain stores so yeaa, if a girl is wearing a jets jersey, im way more impressed with her than say a girl wearing something from abercrombie blehhh

OK, be careful about terms like guido or guidette. I’m not offended, but I know many Italian Catholics who are and some of them may view these fora from time to time. I know those who use the terms to describe themselves, but seriously. You wouldn’t use any other racial insult or ethnic insult, if there was that possibility.

There’s nothing wrong with being a sally-rally, but at least you have decent taste in music! I’d say the band shirts combat the salliness lol I agree, the closest thing to heels I will wear are my combat boots or cowboy boots 🙂 My wardrobe consists of 70% band t shirts, 20% consists of something black or grey, 10% other 🙂

I have some Jewish ancestry too, I’ve always been raised to have respect for Latinos because they’re good Catholics. Though I didn’t kick his butt (because he was taller and way stronger than me), one of his little Nazi minion friends said something to me and I lost my cool. Apparently I blacked out because I don’t remember punching him repeatedly in the head 🙂 I’m told it was a good 15-20 times… I only remember hitting hit 3 times LOL!

I’ve been thinking about joining a local Bible study group so I can make new friends that are Christians too. Who knows, maybe I’ll met a nice guy.

Im italian, and its not a racial slur lol, its a subculture that 99% of italian americans look down on because of how it portrays italians

lol well, my condolences, theres nothing wrong with look per se…but the stuff thats tied to it is blehhh, the drunkeness, womanizing, vanity, etc. I get annoyed because i live around alot of people who subscribe to that whole image and its very cringe worthy 😛

Dyed hair doesn’t bother me either… I remember my punk faze, I had black and blue hair. Everyone thought I was scene… if you’re goth they think you’re emo, if you’re punk they think you’re scene… $#@&!

Clothes say a lot. I tend to assume everyone wearing A&F are snobs that think they walk on water. Is this judgemental? Yes. I honestly can’t help it either.
 
It is! I think I’m from the same area…

Yeah, I told my dad all the Italian names I wanted for my future kids, my mom was like, “But he’ll be wearing gold chains and white undershirts!” I think that was the point where both my dad and I smacked our foreheads…

Yea people can be really ignorant and “label” people what they think they are, its comical how people subconsciously try to take the individuality out of a person and class them like anything else.

And I totally get what you are saying with the A&F crowd, my high school was full of snobs who wore the same clothes, drove the same expensive cars their parents gave them yada yada yada. I try not to judge a person’s character based on that but its undeniable that there is something you can tell about a person who wears certain things. like ive been saying this since it has arrived, but the popped collar will be the bane of humanity! and men in pink polos as well. 😛 no one heeds my warning tho 🤷

I meant that for all of the comparing and denying…that IF all the nice girls and all the nice boys got together, there should be some chemistry! We obviously enjoy some of the hobbies and people…so there should be some connections…🤷

I’m sure if you check over in the Moral Theology section, the COLRs will tell you that you’re “putting your soul in danger” by reading Freud.

But I certainly do not agree with all of his ideas(probably being more of a pessimistic Jungian). Anyway, I have some interest in psychiatry.
