I believe that smiley was directed at me, not you.You question my honesty? If so, I find that unfortunate.
Show me posts to back up your assertion that. Members here have stated they support discrimination against blacks. You question my honesty? If so, I find that unfortunate.
Iām confused.I believe that smiley was directed at me, not you.
I havenāt seen any discriminatory opinions on these forums directed at African Americans (well except for one questioning the hygiene practices of Africans), but Iāve seen more than enough such opinions concerning Hispanics.ok,forget the SSA comment. However I still take umbrage with Ringilās most uncharitable and untrue comments re members here indicating discriminatory opinions re blacks. He made that one up!
The post you quote above, does not concern Blacks- but concerns your assumption related to what I was saying earlier- so please donāt muddy what I wrote.Show me posts to back up your assertion that. Members here have stated they support discrimination against blacks.
No, lynch mobs formed in the South because those largely DemocratIC Party members felt the blacks had disobeyed the law.You highlight her fear.
One of the central myths of pre-Civil RIghts in the US- especially in the South, was that Black men couldnāt control their lust and desire to rape black women. This caused widespread fear and justified subjugation, segregation, and contributed to the fears of white women.
It is ALWAYS fear that drives discrimination.
Are you kidding me,is this how you try to walk back your comment? You need to re read want you wrote,The post you quote above, does not concern Blacks- but concerns your assumption related to what I was saying earlier- so please donāt muddy what I wrote.
This isnāt accusing others here of discrimination against blacks? Could have fooled me.Her tactics are more akin to the US prior to the era of civil rights with the Blacks Only water fountains and businesses serving Whites Only.
And remember well that a few right here on CAF would defend a business right to refuse to serve Blacks or anyone else they deem undesirable.
You have concerns about the supposed entity āreverse-racismā facing this young lady from Arkansas?I would think Catholicism follows what Rome says. But however we can observe naughty white people.
Sure, there wouldnāt be any issue here if she was black or Hispanic. You have concerns about the supposed entity āreverse-racismā facing this young lady from Arkansas?
If someone has a reasonable fear for their safety, they are allowed to do certain things in response. But the key word is āreasonableā. Not every fear is reasonable, and not every response to a fear is a legal response. If a particular Muslim had threatened the woman, and that same particular Muslim showed up the next day at her shooting range, that would be a reasonable fear. But if some random Muslim came to her place of business, she might** feel** afraid, but that unreasonable fear would not be seen as an excuse for her discriminatory behavior in the eyes of the law.Well, this is about a woman feeling threatenedā¦
Oh, this is great! lollSure, there wouldnāt be any issue here if she was black or Hispanic.
Unless the threats are anonymous which these threats likely are since she apparently received them via email, pushing this back in the possibility of being reasonable. If someone has a reasonable fear for their safety, they are allowed to do certain things in response. Oh, Itās unbelievable all right!!This lady received death threats.
Oh, letās just go back and mention the Old South and some sort of theory that fear motivated discrimination.
Apparently she engaged Muslims on debate about the Koran numerous times, apparently the debate became ugly a number of times as well from the Muslim side.
A person receives a death threat, they rightfully should be fearful, now all of a sudden this becomes wrong because this is the fuel for discrimination. Unbelievable.![]()
