Oh how self-righteous you neo-con conservative “Catholics” are. You’re so convinced that you’ve presented the “facts” that this war in Iraq is justified, noble, and the work of almighty God Himself! We poor anti-war types, we’re so dellusional, we can’t compete with your “factual” arguements that WMDs were really in Iraq, they were just moved before we got there. And all those people who’s job it was to search for and find WMDs have now said they weren’t there and they haven’t been there…well they are just a bunch of liers…you know how those eeevil liberals are!
We can’t argue with the “facts” that Saddam was really behind 9-11 and had ties with Osama. And just because President Bush, Sec. Rummy, Powell, and others have said that there was no such connection…well…uh…USA USA USA!!!
The fact that thousands and thousands of innocent Iraqis have been killed, they are soooo happy we are there. The fact that the chances that they may be killed is now greater that under Saddam is…well…uh…USA USA USA!!!
Oh please Mr. Neo-con, conservative “Catholic”, teach me you wisdom! How can I, with a straight face, tell those silly anti-war types that all those facts they keep bringing up only makes them look stupid? How can I convince them that it’s anti-American to believe that Saddam and Osama weren’t buddies but they actually hated each other. Teach me oh wise one! I beg you!! How can I, with a clear conscience, show those looney anti-war type Catholics, that even though Catholics leaders from the Holy See on down cried out against war with Iraq, we can just ignore them, after all, war is the work of the state, it’s their decision not the Churches’ (wink wink). And what about all those dead civilians? What’s that Mr.Neo-con, conservative"Catholic"? Oh! I didn’t know that, there’s a street named “Colateral Damage” street in heaven! So when an innocent Iraqi baby gets killed or a teenager, or an old man and his grandmother get their heads blown off, that’s OK! They’re on their way to “Colateral Damage” street! Praise the Lord!!
So tell me, oh wise one, the holder of all the pearls of wisdom, is it true? To be an effective war-hawk"Catholic" I’m to ignore whatever the “other-side” says, no matter how valid or factual their argument may be? Only what we say is true, EVERYTHING else is a lie. No matter who says it, right? How about name calling? Does calling somebody anti-American, anti-soldier, pro-Saddam, shrill, just because they disagree with us really work? What’s that? Oh I see. I have to ask - are you getting the responses that you want to your anti-war postings? Obviously you are determined to change other people’s minds through these forums. However the more you rattle on and the more you are demeaning those in these forums, the more I lose respect for your opinion and the less sense your words make. Posting like these make it appear as if you really don’t care what anyone else thinks or feels as long as you are right - and when you don’t get what you want to personally attack.
As for WMD, even Clinton admitted to WMD in Iraq - Clinton said we would only be in Bosnia for one year, guaranteed - even Clinton knew of the destructive powers of bin Laden- even Clinton knew of the abuses of the peace treaty of Iraq from the first war. We know of the facts of Sadaam’s gassing of his own people, the public stonings and beheadings, the reason why there isn’t any other political party (they’re all dead, along with their families). The difference is this president took actions instead of turning his head.
I personally know people in the war. I have seen the new gravesites of the fallen soldiers. I have sitten beside a family who’s son was killed. Never once have I heard from anyone over there that our efforts are unwanted or was unneeded. Of course the Iraqis don’t want us there forever just as much as we don’t want to be.
Of course I could say more, but I know you will post again another day. Hopefully you can attain a sense of personal pride in your postings and not berate those who are as equally against your opinion as you are for it.

After Arnold turned traitor American soldiers remembering that he had injured his leg in battle said “we will give his leg a burial with full military honors, the rest of him we will hang”. He died in exile. Ignored and reviled even by the British. Alone and nearly forgotten. Of a “nervous illness”. In other words in torment. It also brings to mind the old story “The Man Without A Country”. A man doomed to never set eyes on America again or even hear the name of our nation. In the end he regretted his treason. Even Dante put traitors in the very lowest circle of hell. All this makes for interesting consideration, neh?

More importantly, Iraqis will read what you write and believe it. Young people in America will read it and believe it. Soldiers will read it and believe it. Iraqi police will read it and believe it. It will cause a decrease in moral amongst them. 99% of this war is keeping moral high and resisting the terrorist’s attempts at underminding our determination. If the terrorists can get us to run away, they win. You advocating such a strategy plays into their side. In short, you are giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
Bad arguement. So does advocating sin, but it isn’t want we want for good moral in the Catholic church.
