All churches most likely have some error. It depends on the nature of the error and how serious it is.
Okay, so back to the original question then: Do they then move on to a different church? Start there own church?

As Scriptures says —God will judge outsiders.
This is a partial or fractional truth that we often see in Protestantism.

The truth is EVERYONE is judged - not once but twice in what the Catholic Church calls 1) the Particular Judgement and 2) General or “Last” Judgment.

The Final Judgment will embrace all works, good or bad, forgiven as well as unforgiven sins, every idle word (Matthew 12:36), every secret thought (1 Corinthians 4:5). Theologians teach that even the secret sins of the just will be made manifest, in order that judgment may be made complete and that the justice and mercy of God may be glorified. This will not pain or embarrass the saints, but add to their glory, just as the repentance of St. Peter and St. Mary Magdalen is to these saints a source of joy and honour.

There is only One Church, ja4. Jesus only has One Body. He is not some sort of dismembered Person!

The Church that Jesus left is the only one that is qualified to determine degree of error.

First of all… 🙂 God is love… ❤️ and he is a God of peace. Jesus is God… John 1:1 No doubt about that! Never has been, never will be.

However… Jesus didn’t always “appear” or “act” peaceful… :tsktsk: He wasn’t “always” meek and humble… He was very forthright and bold. He called the Pharisees and Sadducees Vipers, he preached very sternly to them and didn’t hold anything back whatsoever… he told it like it was… and this to the Relious leaders of his day… This could not exactly be considered a “peaceful demonstration” not by a longshot… he angered people everywhere he went! :banghead:

Quote=OneNow1, John the baptist calls Jesus the Lamb of God, Doesn’t that seem curious to you. John 1: 36.

By the way it was John the baptist that called the Pharsiees Vipers not Jesus. Matt. 23, Quite a tongue lashing by Jesus.

Jesus taught with authority which, I’m sure didn’t sit well with the Jewish authorities, their disdain should not be confused with the humility That Jesus exhibeted throughout his life. End Quotes.]

Quote=SMTJ. Second… What I typed for John 3:3 was right on the mark… It comes from the KJV… :bible1:

Quote= OneNow1, The original translation is [Anothen] in Greek meaning born from above. End

Quote= SMTJ,We are born again when we repent and fully trust the work Jesus did for us on the cross and confess our sins and forsake them.End

Quote=OneNow1, Yes our sp[irit is renewed, undoubtedly, when we confess our sins to a validly ordained Priest, within Apostolic succession.

Quote= SMTJI whole heartedly agree that we should be baptised the first chance we get after this because Jesus said so. It is a direct command not an “option”… but we are already saved when we are baptised or we just go down a dry sinner and come up a wet one! :doh2:END

Quote=OneNow1, I agree we are saved, we will be saved, and we hope to be saved. I think you miss one point, baptism washes away the sin of Adam,[Original sin ] and if your an adult all sins.
Then the Spirit, gives us the means to battle the sins of the flesh.
Grace ] ! End

Baptism is a sign to all men that we have “died to the flesh” and are “resurrected” into newness of life. It’s an outward sign of what has already taken place in the heart. ❤️

Quote= OneNow 1 Absolutely !!! End

SMTJ Third… Praise the Lord… Jesus is always with us… until the very end. His Word is true and everlasting… :amen:
OneNow1, Couldn’t agree with you more.

Which errors are you talking about? Who determines that they are errors? How many churches are there? Define church. Answers, please !

Hi,All. Did you?
Code:
If God should go on strike ?
It’s just a good thing God above has nver gone on strike, because he wasn’t treated Fair or things he didn’t like.If he had ever once sat down and said that’s it… I’m through, Ive had enough of those on earth so this is what I’ll do.

I’ll give my orders to the sun, cut off your heat supply.and to the—moon give no more light and run those oceans dry. Then just to make it tough and put the pressure on. Turn off the air and oxygen till every breath is gone.

Do you know he’d be justified if fairness were the game, for no one has been more abused or treated with disdain and yet he carried on supplying you and me with all the favors of his grace and everything … for free.

Men say they want a better deal and so on strike they go. But what a deal we’ve given God whom everything we owe. We don’t care who we hurt or harm to gain the things we like. But what a mess we’d all be in if God should go on strike.

Clarance C Mills Norwood N. J. July 1977.

Peace, OneNow1;)

In reply to Onenow1:

I stand corrected. John the Baptist does indeed call people vipers in Matthew 3:7…

But… Jesus calls the scribes and pharisees vipers also in Matthew 12:34 and in Matthew 23:33. He also calls them hypocrites and sepulcers full of dead men’s bones!

Of course Jesus was humble… I said he did always “appear” humble…

Yes… Jesus was the Lamb of God… "Curious? I don’t know what you meant by that??? Of course Jesus was the Lamb of God. No argument there at all…

Jesus was the perfect, spotless, lamb… The Sacrifice that would save mankind from their sins. (if they receive the free gift of salvation that is) Without that lamb, without that sacrifice we would all die in our sins.

I will say again…
We are born again when we repent and fully trust the work Jesus did for us on the cross and confess our sins (to him) and forsake them. Jesus alone can forgive sins. He is the one that died for us in order that we might be saved…🙂

Our spirit is renewed when we confess our sins to Christ and forsake them. Our spirit is renewed when we have that one on one talk with the Lord. Our spirit is renewed when we “study to show ourselves approved” as the scripture teaches us to do.

Our spirit is renewed when we “Wait upon the Lord” and do not become too hasty and jump into the driver’s seat instead of letting Jesus take the wheel.👍

Quote=OneNow1, I agree we are saved, we will be saved, and we hope to be saved. I think you miss one point, baptism washes away the sin of Adam,[Original sin ] and if your an adult all sins.

The only thing that washes away sin is the blood of Christ. You cannot have your sins forgiven or washed away until you repent and turn from them… a baby cannot repent. they don’t even know what sin is. But… let’s not go there.

Tomster;
Which errors are you talking about?
In some protestant churches there is the prosperity gospel i.e. God intends all Christians to be rich in material goods to those churches that promote homosexuality. In the Roman Catholic church you have the marian doctrines, purgatory and indulgences to name a few.
Who determines that they are errors?
Scripture… If its not based on the scriptures its either false or not binding.
How many churches are there? Define church. Answers, please !
There is one true church that is composed of believers who have truly believed that Christ died for their sins and is the their Lord and Savior.

Nope, don’t mean that in the least. Does this Church have a name?
We know the name is not the Roman Catholic church since that name is never used in the Scriptures. Nor is it the name of any protestant church either.

Didn’t answer my question, but I’ll leave that alone. Does His Church teach contradicting truths?

Lampo
What would that leave?
None that i know of if we rely on the name. Next we need to look at the characteristics of what the Scriptures say what this church should be structured like.

Christ does not intend for the church to teach the truth. However there are falsehoods taught in the church at times.

I am made roightous by faith and as the rightous are as bold as a lion, I can boldly say to you I will not become a Roman Catholic.

I will not believe a doctrine that isn’t true or be under the illegitimate authority of the bishop of Rome.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!
I used to say the same thing and then…God changed my heart and my mind followed
