Protestants only go to chruch once a week?
I have to agree with RobNY. It may be best to compromise, and attend Mass on Saturday, but insist on your Adoration time.
Here are my thoughts Paris, for what they’re worth.
Well, it feels MORE than 2 miles because I have to drive though neigborhoods and go to all these corners.A) Walking 2 miles (4 miles roundtrip)is great exersise and by no means an unreasonable distance.
Well, for your info, I am very close to my parents. But I guess I should shut my yap about it to them.C) Why are you discussing how often you go to confession with your parents anyways?
Yeah they do. BUT they also, should at least TRY to be a little bit understanding of my new Faith.D) If they are paying, they have a right to comment and a right to say how they want their money spent
Well, this is easy for you to say. Look, I have a learning disability for your info again and I cannot work AND go to college at the same time. If I did both, I would either get fired or fail in college. I even TOLD my parents that and they told me, “No, you’re homework and college comes FIRST before you get a job! We’ll support you but make sure you get that homework done and good grades”. Though you’re right, I DO need a job but it’s either one or the other. BTW, I was almost a 4.0 student last semester! ALMOST made it!E) This all sounds like typical young adult stuff. You are wanting your independence but still want them to pay. I think your idea of getting a job is a good idea. 3 of my adult children are in college and they also have jobs. Time to grow up Paris.
I’m not complaining. I was telling them my schedule. But now I will keep my mouth shut.F) If going to Mass, and going to confession are as important to you as you say, then walk, bike, or take a bus and quit complaining about your parents.
