Notre-Dame cathedral Paris is on fire

Understandable. Notre Dame is a priceless piece of world history even absent its spiritual significance. It’s easily one of if not the definitive examples of a style of building that encompasses 400 years or more of western history. It’s influence on building architecture (particularly churches), which continues to this day, is immeasurable.

I mean one of the most beautiful churches I’ve visited personally (Grace Cathedral in San Francisco) is a direct homage to Notre Dame. And with good reason.

The Organ has survived the fire and has no water or heat damage. It is covered in dust and ash, but is ok. Thanks be to God
