I should have said… voted for Obama.
I admired GW Bush, and Bill Clinton for sticking to their platforms. Both of them were predictable, in that way. Obviously, neither of them were perfect as leaders, and if you liked one of them, you probably disliked the other one. But I am referring to the basic integrity of saying what you mean to do, and then trying your best to do it.
President Obama has not done that. He speaks vaguely, and makes the same promises he made in 2008, but did not act upon. Governor Romney changes his positions, each time the winds shift. He is obviously saying whatever he thinks will win votes from his base, and from swing voters. My sense with each of them, is that they are not trustworthy, and that they are unreliable. It bothers me more that Romney is apparently untruthful, when he really has no cause to be. Lying is far too easy for him, in my opinion. That only comes with practice, and appears to be a pattern of behavior. I can’t stomach listening to that. He is not as Machiavellian and hard hearted as VP Cheney was, but he sends that same chill up one’s spine when he looks you straight in the eye, smiles, and tells a lie. Spooky.
This trait seems to be common with successful businessmen, and it is not an admirable one.
I find your last comment offensive. Please explain how you come to the conclusion that most succussful businessmen lie. Also, please give examples of when Romney lied. Not examples of him changing his position, but him lying.

Vote pro-life.
Federal officials say that absentee ballots being sent to U.S. military serving in Afghanistan may have been burned in a plane crash.
A top official in the Federal Voting Assistance Program this week notified election officials across the nation that a transport plane crashed at Shindad Air Base on Oct. 19.
The crash resulted in the destruction of 4,700 pounds of mail inbound to troops serving in the area.
Federal officials in their email to state election offices said they did not know if any ballots were destroyed. They also said the lost mail was limited to one zip code.
But they recommended that election officials resend a new ballot to anyone who requested one since the first ballot may have been destroyed in the crash and fire.

Isn’t it, though? As Hannity says, the MSM died in 2008. We deserve better. Can’t think of any time that Romney has lied, unfortunately, I can’t say the same thing about Obama.
As a Canadian watching your election, I am absolutely mind-boggled at the very, very bias press coverage. It’s downright nasty!
Me too!!!Voted today![]()
[SIGN] “**The question to ask is this: Are any of the candidates of either party, or independents, standing for something that is intrinsically evil, evil no matter what the circumstances?”Thursday was a busy day for the polls, with some bright spots for each candidate. But it made clear that Barack Obama maintains a narrow lead in the polling averages in states that would get him to 270 electoral votes. Mr. Obama also remains roughly tied in the polls in two other states, Colorado and Virginia, that could serve as second lines of defense for him if he were to lose a state like Ohio.
That is fantasy not reality. _Abyssinia, I’m sure the Obama supporters say the same about your “biased” polls. They all show that Romney and Obama are close. Their are assumptions built into each model making them all subjective. Are you actively campaigning for Romney or do you do this purely out of enjoyment? That is fantasy not reality. Polls are biased to somebody who does not agree them. That is why it is good to look at the sample of the polls and that is how you work out whether they are credible or not_Abyssinia, I’m sure the Obama supporters say the same about your “biased” polls. Rasmussen is showing a toss-up in the electoral college. I believe they and Gallup are credible. But this likely means that there will be a recount dragging this painful election on. I wonder if it doesn’t turn out well for the Obama if the leftists and anarchists will riot?Polls are always biased to somebody who does not agree them. I think most if not all of the toss up states were lean Obama a few months ago. Obama had a lead in the national polls before the 1st debate. CNN is saying it’s going to be very difficult for Romney to win this election without Ohio, Wisconsin, and Iowa.I think most if not all of the toss up states were lean Obama a few months ago. Obama had a lead in the national polls before the 1st debate. That debate changed momentum

Wow, aside from the truth Obama tells, what about, say, Solyndra? When Solyndra filed for bankruptcy, The Obama adminstration said it was from the Bush adminstration. When it was pointed out that under Bush, the loan to Solyndra was not approved, and it was granted to Solyndra under pressure from the [Obama]White House, The adminstration was silent. When it was brought up again later, Obama said it was Congress which caused the loan to be made. This trait seems to be common with successful businessmen, and it is not an admirable one.
