Up at Town Hall, it has been making the news, Romney/Ryan may campaign in Minnesota and that they are running ads there. To be fair, the polls I saw showed Obama with about a 3 or 4% lead in Minnesota but due to the close proximity with Wisconsin and Ryan being from Wisconsin who have their notably brave governor, I think there’s an outside shot, Romney/Ryan could take both states. Also, 3 or 4% points are not far outside of the margin of error and who knows what the so-called “internal polls” may say. townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2012/10/29/romney_to_campaign_in_minnesota
, a new Star Tribune Minnesota Poll has found that it is narrowing here as well, with President Obama holding a 3-point lead and Republican Mitt Romney making gains in the state. The poll shows Obama with support from 47 percent of likely voters and Romney earning backing from 44 percent – a lead within the poll’s margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
Michigan sounds like a similar scenario and Pa. though harder to get like Minn. may be in play too. 👍

Talk about a coverup!

From the WSJ:
The U.S. Labor Department on Monday said it hasn’t made a decision yet on whether to delay Friday’s October jobs report, the final reading on the labor market before next week’s federal elections.

A Labor official said the agency will assess the schedule for all its data releases this week when the “weather emergency” is over.
I understand that the DC offices are closed; however, telecommuting is still authorized. I don’t buy it.

Nearly one-in-three Ohio voters (32%) have already cast their ballots. Obama leads 62% to 36% among these voters. Romney has a large lead among those who still plan to vote. The question of who wins Ohio may come down to whether enough Romney voters get to the polls on Election Day to overcome the president’s lead among early voters. Scott Rasmussen has noted that “Wisconsin May Be The New Ohio.”To win the election, Romney will have to win at least one of these two battleground states.

(1) With Obama holding a nearly 2-1 favorable early vote margin with 32% of all Ohio votes cast, I remain skeptical as to whether Mitt Romney can overcome such a deficit.

(2) Ohio is still a toss-up, according to Rasmussen. Worse, I am doubtful Romney can clinch Wisconsin given its political history.

(3) Hurricane Sandy may very well interrupt Romney’s momentum heading into the final week before Election Day.

Summary: I see the glass half-empty for my candidate Mitt Romney. I would appreciate optimistic (name removed by moderator)ut from fellow Republicans and conservatives.
The past few weeks I have been cautiously optimistic that Mitt can pull a victory. Now,I am vacillating between that opinion and doubt, due to voter fraud and the very fact that it remains so close.I am beginning to pray that I will be able to accept the fact that if Obama does win another term, that I can accept it as God’s will.Remember,He alone can bring good out of every evil.🤷

This cover up is nothing compared to the Benghazi attack and the jailing of the dude who made the vid.

I don’t know how this is playing out in the rest of the country but early voting is being pushed pretty hard this year in my state of Illinois. It seems like the fervor to vote for Obama in 2008 has been replaced by the pressing of early voting. My local news channel had a feature story over the weekend on how my country is giving several options to anyone so that they’re able to vote. Remote voting, mail-in ballots, people who will come to your house to issue and collect ballots, etc. An alderman has spent the last week going door to door in a primarily black section of town explaining these options to everyone she encounters.

Who knows how things will turn out. When you say 32% do you mean 32% of Ohio’s total population or 32% of “expected” voters or something else? From the reports I’ve seen early voting is primarily an effort being pushed by Democrats and will likely favor Democrats.

Suppressing the jobs report could very well work againstvObama.Would really shed light on the obfuscation of facts that has been ongoing in this administration.

God’s Will be done, but I fail to see any good that can come from a second Obama term.

I believe its 32% of expected Ohio voters, but I didn’t write the article! 🙂 It may be registered voters or likely voters.

This one is remarkably close.I saw another set of polls that lean Obama, but all are within the margin of error.

Pathetic. No excuse other than attempts to CYA of the admin for this possible delay.

I posted this in another thread so I could maximize responses:

*The storm is a terrible tragedy for all people in its path. I am in the cone area depicted on the meteorological maps and I sympathize with all similarly situated.

That aside, I have concerns that Hurricane Sandy will help Obama’s re-election chances. He will have the opportunity to act ‘presidential’ via constant appearances in the media. Obama will play the visible role of sympathetic President to the hilt, whether genuine or not (I can’t read his heart). Romney will keep a low profile out of a sense of caution because he can’t appear heartless in campaign mode while millions along the East Coast are suffering. Plus, the Bhengazi disaster, the economy, rising deficits, stagnant unemployment and other Obama foibles will stay out of the public eye due to coverage of Hurricane Sandy. I think the Obama campaign will effectively profit from the storm. Thoughts? *
I don’t know whether the strom will effect the election.

I do believe strongly that the President does care about people and to suggest that he would feign such concern isn’t fair.

Both Romney and Obama are career politicians and so have real problems inherent with that. At the same time I do believe they are basically good guys and do have consern and empathy for people in difficult circumstances.

In other words I don’t believe that either of them are sociopaths.

Romney/Ryan have cancelled all campaign events today and tomorrow
More event cancellations and a statement from Romney communications director Gail Gitcho: “Out of sensitivity for the millions of Americans in the path of Hurricane Sandy, we are canceling tonight’s events with Governor Romney in Wisconsin and Congressman Ryan in Melbourne and Lakeland, Florida. We are also canceling all events currently schedule for both Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan on Tuesday. Governor Romney believes this is a time for the nation and its leaders to come together to focus on those Americans who are in harms way. We will provide additional details regarding Governor Romney’s and Congressman Ryan’s schedule when they are available”
“Both campaigns said they were suspending fundraising e-mails to supporters in Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, New Jersey and the District of Columbia,” adds CNN

Obama done same but is he having his surrogates like Clinton campaign for him? When is this storm predicted to be over?

God’s Will be done, but I fail to see any good that can come from a second Obama term.
Only from thevstandpoint that our Country and it’s citizenry will be suffering to the extent that it will really wake everyone up,especially those who obviously prefer to stick their heads in the sand and refuse to see what awaits us with another term for O. Don’t get me wrong,I am praying mightily that God will bless us with a new president next Tuesday,I just don’t want to fall into a state of despair if it goes otherwise.
