He already is a failure. Why we have to suffer another 4 years with him is beyond me. Besides, the next democrat will just will after him. Or he stay president for life. I’m not putting anything passed this guy at this point.

On another note: is it possible that they just made all these numbers up? I mean, his support seemed to all but dry up. He was finishing the campaign out with half empty venues. It really looked bad for him. All of sudden all this support out of nowhere. I mean really, it’s all done on computer now days couldn’t it just all be made up and we would simply have no idea?
Or maybe you were just seeing what you wanted to see and reading what you wanted to read. That’s the problem with propaganda. If you wanted a truer picture, you need to seek out sources that you may not necessarily go to normally.

I hope I can discuss with you, respectfully of course. Would you be able to provide evidence that your experience with your country’s healthcare is consistent of all Canadian citizens? I’m not arguing against your point, just want to find out if it is, in fact, consistent. I know that here in the U.S., every single town, city, county and state are entirely different in regards to virtually everything, including healthcare.

Fox News seems to really get under your skin. People seem to paint them as some ‘Right-Wing’ extremist news outlet when, in fact, they are more-so leaning to the left than even being moderate. They just appear to be right-wing because CNN, MSNBC, ABC, The New York Times, L.A. Times, Huffington Post and so-on are so far left.

For example, how many of the U.S. Mainstream media outlets have put out any significant news on Benghazi? There has been virtually no coverage from any of them.

Also, Fox News was one of the first, if not the first, to declare Obama the winner yesterday. Not only that, but the newscasters were getting frustrated with Romney for not conceding sooner than he did. Does this paint the picture of a biased, Right-Wing news source who supports Republicans?

In regards to healthcare here, most agree that it needs to be revamped. The problem with Obamacare is that he wants to force medical establishments to pay for contraception, abortions and many other evils that the Catholic Church is vehemently against. I’m sure that, as a Catholic yourself, you can see that this is intrinsically evil and against everything we believe in.

War is only evil if it is an unjust war. Innocent men, women and children were murdered in the thousands because of Muslim extremists. I would consider that a righteous justification to protect our citizens.

In Irag, Saddam Hussein was continuously slaughtering hundreds of thousands of his own people. I would assume that, if a dictator in your country was murdering hundreds of thousands of your countrymen, you would want someone to come in and liberate you.

Republicans are not these ‘bloodthirsty’ war mongers. They are, however, quick on their feet to help those in need. Just like the poor need help, so do the oppressed, but in a different way.

Received this via e-mail. It is probably from a source that you may not necessarily go to normally and you probably will see it as propaganda. But, is it wrong? Well, it may be wrong at the end. I think the fight may be over and America’s best days are behind us with a lot of hard times in front of us, but…

"11-6-2012: The Day America Changed

November 6, 2012 is the day America changed.
8 to 9 percent unemployment is the new normal. It’s good enough. 46 million people on food stamps is OK. It shows we care. Debt spending is good. It will get paid off some day and if not, our kids can worry about it. Trillion dollar deficits make sense.

Socialized medicine is good. It will cost more, but did you honestly believe it wouldn’t? It doesn’t matter what you were told. Catholics should pay for abortions. Sandra Fluke is a prophet. Abortions and birth control should be free. We should fund abortions overseas, too.

The First Lady should be allowed to blow millions on lavish vacations. The White House parties should cost millions, too. The president should play as much golf and basketball as he pleases. They deserve it. They work hard. They’re Democrats.

Greedy Americans should pay more taxes and millions of Americans who pay no taxes should receive more free money. It’s only fair. Businesses can afford to pay more taxes too. That’s what they teach you in school, right? We all know the Bush tax cuts that brought the deficit from $450 billion to $175 billion in four years and created millions of jobs didn’t work. Obama said so. And did you know Obama created 5 million jobs? Who cares how he came up with that number. In September he even created 600,000 part-time jobs somewhere. And, don’t you dare question his math.

Benghazi was a protest, or a terrorist attack. Obama said so from the beginning. Who cares anyway. Things like that happen all the time. And the media never covered anything up to help the president either. Right, 60 Minutes?

Al-Qaeda is dead or on the run.

We pushed the restart button with Russia. Putin is a democrat. He can be trusted. What do you mean there are Russian subs in the Gulf and off the east coast?

It’s not racist that 97% of blacks vote Democrat. It’s racist if you are white and vote Republican.

The media is your friend. The mainstream media is not biased. They would never hide anything from you.

Katrina was a national embarrassment. It was Bush’s fault. Sandy was not so bad. And Obama did a great job focusing on it from between campaign stops. The people are not suffering so much or we would have heard about it in the news.

America was once the land of the free. Now we want to be told what to do. More government is good. We want stuff.
On Tuesday America changed.

But the fight is not over.

God help us in the days ahead."

CNN reports 50% of Catholics voted for Obama, 48% for Romney.
American Catholics have been by and large apostate since Vatican II. I don’t blame them. I blame the bishops for poor leadership and catechesis.

I eliminated my employees health insurance and will hire only part timers from how on. many, many of my clients are doing the same.
And this is the only way that Catholic institutions such as hospitals and faithful colleges will be able to continue unless they prevail in court. Keep the number of paid, FT, actual employees under whatever the government says is the magic number. The rest can be PT, independent contractors and volunteers.

I don’t think people realize that this is the only option left to Catholic institutions under the HHS madate. The only others, and both are inconceivable, are to shut down entirely or to only serve Catholics.

I’m not a fan of Assange but he speaks the truth here.

Obama wolf in sheep’s clothing: Assange
Speaking by phone from Ecuador’s London embassy, where he sought asylum in June in a bid to avoid extradition to Sweden over sex crime allegations, Assange said on Wednesday Obama’s victory was no cause for celebration.
“Obama seems to be a nice man, and that is precisely the problem,” the 41-year-old Australian told AFP, after the president defeated Republican Mitt Romney on Tuesday night to sweep back into the White House.
<…>
He added: "All of the activities against WikiLeaks by the United States have occurred under an Obama administration.
and the business community was so buoyed with Obama’s re-election that stocks dropped or rather dived.
US stocks dive after Obama win; Dow loses
The Dow Jones Industrial Average** tumbled** 312.95 points (2.36 per cent) to finish at 12,932.73, closing below 13,000 for the first time since August.
US stocks have tanked more than two per cent after President Barack Obama’s re-election victory set up a tough battle with Republicans over the looming “fiscal cliff”.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled 312.95 points (2.36 per cent) on Wednesday to finish at 12,932.73, closing below 13,000 for the first time since August.
The tech-rich Nasdaq Composite shed 74.64 (2.48 per cent) at 2,937.28.
The S&P 500-stock index, a broad measure of the markets,** skidded** 33.86 (2.37 per cent) to 1,394.53.
(bolding mine)

It is a sad day for the United States.

Hello, folks…🙂

Haven’t been here in a while. Was in another state attending to personal business.

Just came here to commiserate. 😦

Oh, boy, here we go…next stop, Socialism central. 😦

Ultimately, though, I trust in the Good Lord----and ultimately, his will WILL be done.👍

Through the prayers of the Mother of God, have mercy on us and save us. Amen.

Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, Have Mercy on Us.

p.s. Mickey, whenever I see you post, I almost think you’re my niece…her nickname is Mickey.

Don’t know if I agree with this or not because I’m not sure that we have truly hit rock bottom and if America can actually be saved, but I guess it offers a bit of hope.

"Obama Wins:
A Chance for Us to Become Free Again

(www.RemnantNewspaper.com) Tough to swallow, isn’t it! But did we really think we could somehow vote our way out of this—with homosexual "marriage"now the law of the land and the slain bodies of millions of aborted babies clogging the sewers of American cities and consciences alike? All that was needed in order for us to be redeemed was another silly election? Please! Ideas have consequences—and so do crimes of infanticide and the other sins that cry to heaven for vengeance.

Barack Obama is not the problem. We are! Abortion is. Public schools are. A rotting pop culture is. Modernism in the Catholic Church is. Divorce and homosexual “marriage” are. Obama has been reelected simply because America, like any nation, will always only get the leaders she deserves. We told God to go to hell a long time ago, and God is now allowing us to see what life is like without Him. So lead on, Mr. Obama! Thou shouldst not have any power against us, unless it were given thee from above. Therefore, he that hath delivered us to thee, hath the greater sin…

…God writes straight with crooked lines, and if America is to be humbled and brought to her knees then perhaps she will also be redeemed in the process. For this we hope and pray, even as we vow to fight against the reelected regime and never so surrender the old Faith of our Fathers—come what may. Viva Cristo Rey!

Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. Rev. 18:4"

Ok, did anyone watch Hannity tonight? I rarely watch his show because I think he tends to go too far, but I thought his opening monologue where he said that while he didn’t want Obama to win and clearly many people are disappointed we can’t give up. He said go ahead and take a few days to deal with the disappointment but then we have to get back in the game because we can’t give up our principles. He said some other things too.

I have to say I was surprised at how what he said really made me feel better. And I wasn’t even surprised Obama won. This country is reaping what it’s sown and it will continue to. But I was happy to hear something positive from him.

A strange phenomenon…just like 2008.

Obama says something and it is accepted as absolute truth…with no supporting evidence. But the GOP says something and it is disregarded immediately as a lie.

I understand that the main stream media has a lot to do with this…but there is also a strange essence of some type of large scale…hypnosis (for lack of a better word). 🤷
I think it’s basically wishful thinking. People want to believe him. He does talk a good talk when he is onstage and he needs to. And people who want to believe him are more than willing to accept his excuses and finger pointing about how it was the other guys fault.

And this is the only way that Catholic institutions such as hospitals and faithful colleges will be able to continue unless they prevail in court. Or they could choose to only hire Catholics and only service Catholics. Just as I think our Catholic schools should.

Yeah…and then I know a bunch of people who voted for him because they like his smile. :banghead:

Did you also happen to catch the segment with Bob Woodward? He laid out three major points that show that the MSM was not in the President’s pocket. He mentioned how they hammered Obama on the economy, the first debate and one more. Hannity was at a bit of a loss to counter the arguments.

John

No. Obama is pro-abortion at any time for any reason, so a vote for him was not a vote for life.
He is NOT PRO-ABORTION AT ALL.Just as Moses is not the author of indiscriminate divorce, neither Obama nor any past US President is pro-abortion.

There are some wrongs that warrant a Penal Law to deter, but not all. Some wrongs are to be left to the conscience of those who commit them after educating public in general. Obama is doing wonderful work to educate people against abortion, since it is not practical to ban it or have a Penal Code.
