I thank God we have the opportunity to make him an ex-president before the next Roe v Wade anniversary. It will take some work to convince our fellow Americans that it should be done.

And I thought Andrew Jackson had a problem with demonizing his opponents - but a least they were his opponents, he wasn’t going after babies.

I believe most pro-aborts have managed to convinced themselves that the unborn are not human beings–they know that it is human life, but they don’t think it is a human person. The left speaks a lot about personhood and they feel personhood happens at birth. Of course, it is all so much ridiculous justification to help make their conscience feel better.

IMO, abortion and marriage are the two most important issues, and if we combined all the other issues it would still not rise to the importance of those two.

I was listening to a legal professor on EWTN just the other night. He was disproving the left’s “theories” on the life issues, and certain “scientists” that have studied the issue.:rolleyes: I was shocked to hear that some of them do not even believe that “personhood” begins at birth. They believe it to begin more or less around the age where they can communicate, and form logical conclusions.:eek: That means infanticide is up for grabs if the opinion of some of them is counted as legit.

Peter Singer, Bioethics professor at Princeton University, believes we should be able to kill children up to the time that they can recognize themselves in the mirror. “Self-awareness” is the critical element of personhood is his claim.

I attended my first March for Life yesterday as a 54 year old “sinful and sorrowful” former pro choice feminist who gradually has become pro life due to my work as a nurse with those with catastrophic injury including children with special needs and individuals with brain injury. I am now in RCIA and on my way home to the Church and I was awe inspired by the march and more than anything just so sorry for my past beliefs and my own luke warm faith in a Methodist church all of these years, and by the way where were they yesterday, so sad to see so little mainline Protestant presence. It was truly a life changing experience, I heard preached for decades about faith in action and yesterday I felt like I was doing something about it. And so after this incredible day I texted my husband at home and asked about the news coverage and as of 4 PM this is the only story he saw- unbelievable!!! I am just praying for our country to wake up and for God to revive us quickly- a little afraid of what He may bring if this goes 40 years by next January. And yes we do need to vote our consciences- there is no social justice unless there is justice for all.

One point that strikes me. This decision to require paying for anti life proceedures came on Friday. Just days prior to the Walk for Life. Hmm…isn’t that a coincidence.

Let me just say that I wasn’t born with the gift of flawless rhetoric…I get ahead of my internal censors from time to time and post a thing or two that causes visceral reactions in other people. 😃
