But surely Hart, Schaffner and Marx at work. 😃
One of my favorite trios. Actually, I prefer Italian blazers and khakis with cordovan loafers whenever I can get away with it. When my work at court is done, I like to take off the tie, sidle up to the bar for a refreshing glass of The Macallan, and enjoy the good life.

As for the F-150, I generally buy a truck about every third vehicle. I went from a Jaguar S-Type to a Cadillac STS, then the F-150. I will probably go back to a BMW 3 Series after I tire of the truck. Never fails, however, I always break up the sedan routine to purchase an F-150. There is something about driving a Ford truck that I really enjoy. My wife has consistently driven Jaguars for the past decade. They’re nice, but I enjoy a little more variety. I drove beaters when I was in college, so I had my share of rusted out 1974 Mustang II’s and beat-up 1962 VW Beetles, trust me.

Brioni jackets, I’d guess. Even I was able to afford one. Hart, Schaffner and Marx are more reasonable. 😃

Am a gin drinker; no taste for Scotch, of any quality.

No, mostly stuff off the rack at Nieman-Marcus or Macy’s. The Italian blazers usually fit slightly better than the Ralph Lauren, but I like those as well. They’re realy not that expensive. I buy Cole-Hahn loafers at DSW on sale for about $100. Works for me. Nothing like a great sale price. Some of my friends downtown wear suits that are amazing. I’m too cheap.

As for The Macallan, it has been my favorite Single malt for twenty years. I recently tried gin and tonic for the first time - not bad when mixed. I sipped straight gin once, but never again. Argh!

I do not. I was pointing out how the MSM portrays Obama’s gaffes.

signed,
extremist wing-nut 😃
Some of Obamas gaffes are portrayed out of context or all of them? I ask since you admit he is capable of gaffes.

With the success this man has achieved, it is really a stretch to say he is any of these things. Perhaps he is not “cool” like Obama, perhaps he does not say things only to please the audience, but where has that gotten us. I think, given his business acumen, he will fare quite well in talks with other heads of state and he will darn sure stand up for our country better than our current president has done. I cannot believe how many people are attracted by esthetics rather than substance. And as far as qualified is concerned, what had Mr. Obama done that made him qualified to be president? Community rabble rowser? Give me a break.
Mary, the focus of Democrats on what Romney MIGHT do if elected is irrational, b/c they ignore such things as the failure to secure embassies on 9/11 after being warned, and the labeling of the Hassan Ft. Hood massacre of unarmed soldiers as “workplace violence”.
On the economic front, the fact that Obama never ran so much as a hot dog stand , and the fact that Romney has been wildly successful at many endeavors doesn’t dissuade them from believing that Obama’s redistributionist theories will be “better for the economy”. Americans have gone crazy. :hypno: Rob

Got the HS&M suits and a few jackets at Dillard’s. Ther Brioni came from NYC - fat chance of finding one in Little Rock.

Florsheim for me. I’ve got a EEE foot and they are hard to find in a better shoe.

I don’t know what you are getting at.

Romney makes a gaffe, it’s repeat ad nauseum. Obama makes a gaffe, it’s treated like the wing-nuts took it out of context and then it’s dropped.
