No I was thinking about buying some property closer to work which I could live on during the week and visit on the weekends.

pretend you are not married by getting a separation or divorce - but not really be living separately
nor consider yourself separated or divorced in order to qualify for some public assistance - then you are trying to break the rules … that is exactly what you are doing - that is Fraud
