Obviously I am not going to get the bishop involved. The pastor knows what’s going on.In my opinion, this is not a situation in which you should involve the bishop. Our bishops are busy enough already. A layman adding a word to the Our Father, though wrong, is not something a bishop should be spending his time on.
He clearly likes to be the center of attention. That’s very evident in his actions well away from the Mass/parish. Still he clearly has the brains and good counsel to know what he’s doing is wrong. He has improved for a short time (he proudly refers to me as his “sensei”) yet soon enough he goes right back t his antics.He’s not trying to upset anyone by the sound of it. You said he improves for a while when people talk to him about it. He’s not perfect, but he’s trying. If you continually get angry or annoyed at that Mass, you should probably find a different Mass to attend. JMHO.
In the end this has really taken a tool om weekday morning Masses.
