Official: Some Clinton emails 'too damaging' to release

This will just make those who hate Hillary Clinton hate her more, and those that support her circle the wagons. It will not change the outcome of the 2016 election.

Well, I’ve said since the beginning that it would take more than Benghazi to sink Camp Hillary.

But the fact is the recalcitrance of the Democrats and the Obama Administration to cooperate is why this is still going on. They, along with their media allies, made the decision in 2012 to protect the Obama/Biden ticket and perhaps Harry Reid’s majority in the Senate. Elijah Cummings hasn’t been much help either and turned to the hearings into a cross between a circus and a Hillary Clinton campaign ad.

Now the truth is slowly and painfully coming out.

Remember that 2 years or so ago, the mentality from camp Clinton was “don’t even bother running against me”.

If she’s the nominee and the election were today, she could lose states like Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, and just because of Benghazi.

I’m not suggesting the emails were marked “classified” and that’s no excuse for team Hillary.

If you attend a top secret meeting and later summarize any of the information in an email to your boss, that email is deemed as classified as the meeting you attended. Same if you read a document marked secret and later include any details in a note to your boss.

Petraus violated the law when he put notes in his personal diary and then did not treat his diary as a top secret document, it didn’t have to be marked “classified” for him to break the law.

It’s a ‘red herring’ for Hillary to claim innocence just because none of the emails sent were marked “Classified” or “Top Secret” at the time they were sent. If the source agency was allowed to read the draft emails before originally sent (instead of now), they would have insisted they be marked appropriately from the beginning.

MSNBC, CNN, and Fox are all calling them “upgraded” and saying they were not marked when Clinton sent them.

While Republicans and conservatives would not vote for Clinton even if she was honest, will there ever come a time when enough Democrats and liberals of good will will not be able to stomach the way that HRC has conducted her affairs?
Even if there will always be valueless partisans who would support even the devil himself, and have no regard to character over the gang colors, what about Democrats of good will? Will there ever come a point in time when this kind of behavior becomes too much, and her numbers will start to drop in the polls?

The notion that a Cabinet official, such as Secretary of State, does not know if information is classified, sensitive or OUO is an odd notion to have. Those who have access to information must endure annual training that repeatedly drills the basic nature and consequences of incorrectly disseminating information of all kinds, and that appropriate reviews must be made prior to exposing it to an unclassified or open network. If it had to do with Cabinet level work, it most certainly merited some kind of protection other than residing on a private, non-government server. I have seen people marched out of buildings, or arrested for less.

The comparison to General Petraeus is a little off, I think, and I say that respectfully. He gave his diary to his biographer to read, a non- military, non-government person.

I don’t think Clinton should have used her home server, and I think she knew she shouldn’t. But I also think this will blow over like a late autumn leaf in the wind, and end with Clinton saying, “I told you so!”

I don’t support her, but I also have no faith in Washington, or Langley.

I don’t even care that much anymore. I don’t trust any politician of any party. It comes down to which I think is the lesser evil and the least narcissistic. Some choice! I am pretty sure you don’t get it or you wouldn’t blow it off like that. Its not some fluff, doesn’t matter anyway.

Hilary Clinton had the position of Secretary of State. That position alone requires total safeguarding of our nations relating to the whole world of other nations. The Sec of State MUST know what needs to be held in total security from being revealed to those not in the circle of trust. She obviously did not wish to be bothered with the mechanics set forth to safeguard our closely guarded information. Her level of narcissism is criminal.
Because others are caught in her web of dysfunction, deceit and fantasy, the need to shut off being exposed has grown, revealing more levels of the same corruption. Hilary is not as favored, likable, admired, smart, reliable, capable, trustworthy, ad nauseum as those who have linked their own money and power to hers.

Because there have been many others brought into her swamp, the exposure and accounting for these wrong doings has been prolonged to the point of additional crimes.

As SoS she is required to know these things. She took an oath state she would protect the USA.

That’s true, though I contribute in the form of taxes. I pay what I’m told I must pay. I contribute to charities. I’m here, engaged in dialog with you and others. I care about the US, and I care about its citizens (I’m one!), but I just don’t see any candidate in either party being able to mend what all the former politicians, on both sides, have damaged or even caring to do so.

I care to the point where I’m thinking of starting a coalition to try to find a candidate who will really, really and truly, put the needs of Americans above his or her own selfish interests. It can’t happen this year, but it can happen in 4-8 years.

And it’s not just her, Horton. A lot of politicians have engaged in criminal behavior. I think the government has just become so corrupt that people feel they have no honest choices any longer. And the average person’s life is filled with how he or she is going to make it through another year. How is he going to stretch his paycheck out to feed his family? Pay for their healthcare? Get dental braces on his son’s teeth? Pay his medical co-pays? Pay for the new baby? Make the mortgage payments? Fix the roof that insurance won’t cover? The list goes on and on and on. A lot of people have just given up on Washington. Look at the two front runners, the two who are very likely to win Iowa on Monday: Clinton and Trump. Some would say a criminal and a buffoon. That’s what the US has come to.

Hillary sent her Aides to meetings where everyone knew the information being discussed and presented was sensitive or top secret. When she had them report back to her via email, everyone involved knew the information was not for general consumption, it didn’t matter that the AIDE neglected tot add a ‘top secret’ disclaimer with their intel for Hillary.

I don’t think the emails were really ‘upgraded’, I believe the information inside them was deemed classified or top secret at birth and always should have been treated as such. Upon review by experts they are able to flag the information for what it is.
